This would have been perfect had I recieved the code for entry (1hr wait at 9pm at night depsite asking or a late check in) and had been given better directions (another hour trying to find the pace during the European final) as there is NO SIGNAGE once it is dark, the only thing giving it away is the red carpet "if" the light is on as the hotel is behind a huge bin.On the postive side it was eventually sorted out and the room was clean, small but good enough for what was needed

It is impossible to describe the disgust and disappointment that my mother experienced during her stay in this "hotel", if an ordinary block of flats without a reception can be called that. …

Absolutely horrible. Loud noises from trucks on street (I believe street cleaners) started at 3:30 am and hasn’t stopped yet as of 6am. Got maybe two hours of sleep after long day of travel. No reception / service at this “hotel”. Do not stay here, you will not get any sleep.

The hotel is located directly in the old town of Düsseldorf. Therefore, you can see everything that happens on the pedestrian zone.It is possible to open the windows, but not advisable at night due to the noise...air conditioning for ventilation would work very well here. The stairwell is old, the room was perfectly fine. The service was only by phone with contact for the key safe. A query was answered very quickly in writing... but a person on site would be better. The price-performance ratio is perfect.

I have a room at the Hotel Victoria in mid-January 2024 from May 29th to 31st. Booked via Booking.com for 228 euros. As usual, the booking confirmation came immediately. …

Careful!!!! This accommodation cancels the reservation with less than 24 hours, saying that there was a rate error, and proposes that you pay an additional fee. …

It is impossible to describe the disgust and disappointment that my mother experienced during her stay in this "hotel", if an ordinary block of flats without a reception can be called that. When she arrived, in the evening, she found no one in the "hotel". Waiting in the cold outside the door was the beginning of a disaster. Her late return was confirmed by the "hotel", but the staff seemed to be completely indifferent to it.Thanks to the kindness of another person renting or living in this block, my mother was able to warm up at least for a moment in a strange apartment. After an hour of searching for the hidden key, because there was no mention of it, she finally got into the room. So what? The temperature there was freezing! She tried to heat the room with a radiator for three hours, but it didn't help. So she was lying under the covers all this time, with a jacket and a scarf inside! This is outrageous! The room was in the attic with an extended window that cooled the entire room - it was impossible to sleep there without getting sick if the radiator was not turned on early enough. My mother was there for business purposes and couldn't afford to lose her voice overnight. She paid over 300 euros for two nights in a place that treats guests this way. When she contacted the staff, they arrived with a blanket. Seriously? A blanket when the person is lying all frozen? After no help, my mother finally left this fake hotel and had to find another place at her own expense for another 500 euros for two nights!Despite requests and even arguments for a refund, this "hotel" does not want to refund the money for this tragedy. I warn everyone - avoid it!
