Perfect hotel for a visit to Heidelberg. Situated at the Neckar, with beautiful views and a busstop in front of the door. Heidelberg is less than 10 minutes by bus.The staff is very nice. Witty, informal and very informative.Rooms are clean, cozy and have nice lighting. I really enjoyed my stay.

simple and good hotel with value for money. good breakfast. up the river. but above and on the main road whenever and with noise if you have an open window. 50 minutes walk, 3.5 km from the center. bus number 34 stops right outside the hotel door. with a €3 ticket make your transport to and from the center more than easy. finally good choice for 2/3 days to see Heidelberg.

First, the breakfast at this hotel is well worth the money. We really enjoyed our breakfast there. We had a room with a balcony, and really enjoyed it-- we had a great view of the river and liked being able to go out on the balcony.

We enjoyed our 1 week stay at this very nice family-runned hotel in a double room with balcony facing the Neckar river .This was a spacious room with the charming view of the Neckar and practical : safe, big mirror in the room, magnified mirror in the bathroom, small refrigerator, ventilator, automatic open/close system of the shields, enough space to hang clothes, good shower, etc.The breakfast was very good with many choices. We also enjoyed the dinner, cooked by the lady owner.The owner couple was really friendly, helpful and very hard-working people. When something was not working in the room, they came to fix immediately. Cleaning & breakfast staffs were also very friendly and efficient.The bus stop is just a few steps away. It runs every 20 minutes and it takes only 8 minutes to the old town. It even goes to the central station.Before the holiday, we were a bit worried about the noise of the traffic because the room with the balcony faces the road. But except during the morning and evening rush hour, there was not much traffic and we slept well. The room was well isolated from the noise.the ventilator in the bathroom was very noisy and disturbing during the night.We stayed 7 nights and felt like home !!!We will come back !!!

Extraordinary welcoming staff. Great location for the car travellers. The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Heidelberg, which gives a possibility to enjoy a quite evening and night with a stunning Neckar view on one hand, and quickly get downtown to get full of Heidelberg’s facilities on the other. There is a nice pizzeria just 200 m away. :)

I am now on my third stay at this darling little hotel. The husband and wife team that own this place are amazing kind hosts. The rooms are not luxurious however they are clean and with views unlike anywhere else I have seen. The beds are very comfortable and shower/water pressure is very good.The breakfasts are extraordinary. My favorite part of my stay here and my family's too. The owner is Turkish and his wife is German. The breakfasts are huge with a variety of breads, boiled eggs, cheese, olives, jams, tea, coffee, orange juice and cereals. They have a quaint little dining room and you can sit outside in the summer and watch the river. There is a grocery store within walking distance and the center of town is walking distance too - though it will be about a 20 minute walk.They are remodeling this Spring and I will be excited to visit afterwards! If you like a cozy place where you feel safe, this is the spot.

Excellent view over the river Neckar. Helpful host, told us about the direct bus. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and flavourful with a cheese / ham board.||||Disliked · Small hotel so no safe for valuables. No kettle in the room - I do like my cuppa in the morning.

I have only been here 11/2 hours but already it has exceeded expectations. I am in a double room with a balcony and river view tonight. The view is amazing. There is a restaurant downstairs with bar and I'm having breakfast in the morning. The beds look very comfortable.. I havent tried the shower yet but it looks fine plus they have flat screen TVs and a fridge. No coffee machine though.
