"What a gem Restaurant Hinterding is! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. The evening started with a surprisingly refreshing cold cucumber soup as an appetizer, a delicious foretaste of what was to come. The starter, bunte tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella, was a feast for the eyes and the taste. The flavors of the different tomato varieties in combination with the creamy mozzarella were perfectly balanced.As a main course I chose the scaloppini vom Kalbsfilet with mushrooms and handmade spaetzle. The meat was tender and full of flavor, and the combination with the seasonal mushrooms and the homemade spaetzle was an absolute match made in heaven. Dessert, a classic mousse au chocolat, was the perfect end to a delicious meal. The mousse was silky smooth and had an intense chocolate flavor.The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed. I can wholeheartedly recommend Restaurant Hinterding to anyone looking for a top-level culinary experience."

Because it was mentioned in the Michelin guide, we visited the Hinterding restaurant in Lengerich. The restaurant is located in a large detached villa which houses a hotel on the upper floor. The four-course menu including wine accompaniment was very well prepared and tasted very good. The friendly and professional service corresponded to the very positive overall picture. We will come again.

Excellent restaurant with exceptional food in a cultivated atmosphere with very good service. We had a great evening with 4 courses and matching wines.The rooms are pretty and traditional.The back thing is a real pearl, I would love to come back here.

It's a shame we didn't take more photos. Sure, it's pleasing to the eye, but above all it should be delicious. And the chef can do that. The rack of lamb was a dream, the dessert plate was like walking in the clouds, constantly aaaaa or an oooooooo, delicious. The ambience is dignified and the service is friendly and personable. A relaxed, very special evening. Thanks to the team.
