Nice little owner-run hotel near Lake Aase, just outside of Münster. It's still really quiet here for an urban area.The rooms are clean and tidy, the bathroom is fine throughout.Plus is a separate clothes room and a good medium-sized breakfast.So if you don't need so much comfort and want to save a bit of money, this is the right place for you.

Unfortunately, this hotel is by far the worst hotel I have visited in the EU. The room was not only not well maintained but also extremely outdated. Sockets, skirting boards and clothes hooks were missing. There were cracks in the wall and the sound level in the hallway was 10. You could also completely forget about WiFi; if it worked at all, it worked very poorly. The staff was also really competent and failed at the simplest things. I will never set foot in this hotel again.

The room was completely fine, ok you could fix the strips on the floor again and what would be really practical was a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was fine, except for the rolls, I would talk to the baker about them not so great now. We have one small suggestion: it would be nice if you had somewhere to sit outside where you could hang out for a while when the weather is good. Greetings to the Greek restaurant next door, it was absolutely delicious 😋 and everyone was super friendly. Greetings, we'll be back

Lots of traffic noise, rooms in need of renovation (bathroom was newly renovated but very poorly equipped for a hotel), overall no sound, mattresses rather worn out. Breakfast was something for bricklayers. In my opinion it's more of a hostel than a hotel.

I stayed here for 2 nights for a family celebration. The hotel was fully booked for a large event but everything was well organized. I would particularly like to emphasize the welcoming atmosphere at breakfast. The lady in charge offered the perfect start to the day with commitment and joy and a rich buffet.The location of the hotel is brilliant and my room had a modern bathroom, was clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

We were there for 3 nights for further training. The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are great. Bathroom clean, shower with enough pressure and warm water. I would perhaps have liked a hairdryer on site.The breakfast is very rich. From muesli to cornflakes to yoghurt and eggs to at least 3 types of whole grain bread plus fresh rolls and at least 4 types of cheese and cold cuts, everything was available. The staff were very quick, friendly and helpful. The boss was always there, and we were even given a key to the bike shed around oursTo be able to park bikes safely.Our conclusion: If we come to Münster again, we would like to stay at the Hotel Lohmann.By the way: The Greek restaurant next door is very good! But you should reserve a table here because everyone else knows how good it tastes there 😊

I booked a room there because of further training. The room was well equipped and clean. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Check in/out was easy and there is plenty of free parking available. Breakfast was okay. The neighboring Greek restaurant is recommended for dinner. Highly recommended for professional stays.

I stayed at the Hotel Lohmann for 2 nights for a training course. The HBZ can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.Room was clean, bed was great.The staff was also very nice. The breakfast was ok. I would have liked a little more selection of rolls, but it was ok.1 star deduction: Unfortunately, my room was right next to the stairs, it was very noisy and sleeping through the night was unfortunately out of the question.2. Shortcoming: the shower curtain was unfortunately too short, so I almost flooded the bathroom without further ado. But I noticed it in time.All in all, I can't complain and I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely unconventional in communication and friendliness with guests.When I asked if I could take my very high-quality racing bike, which was packed, with me to my room, the lady approached me in a tone that was not acceptable when dealing with paying guests... unfriendly, even rude... to put it colloquially... one Fury.You weren't allowed to make excuses with her. She immediately interrupted you and became extremely loud. Threatened to throw me out and call the police.The man of the house came over and calmed the situation down a bit.I ended up leaving my bike in the car, which also gave me a restless night.When I inspected the room, where I was previously told that everything had been newly renovated at a great cost, my jaw almost dropped.Carpeting very dirty, walls dirty and centimeter-high dust on pictures, mold in the shower, radiator in the bathroom extremely dusty and not to mention a drain that wasn't well cleaned. So my racing bike is definitely cleaner than this room and is also at home in the apartment.The breakfast was ok.Actually, one star is still too many.
