Very nice privately run hotel. Super nice inner courtyard with outdoor dining. Good food from FINE to HEARTY and very tasty. Drinks from beer to wine with a large selection at fair prices. The feel-good factor is very high and we would love to come back.

The drinks and food ordered came in a pleasant time frame. The house has everything that is needed. Old buildings with their own charm have been wonderfully combined with modern elements. We "only" had a standard room, but we were accommodated quite comfortably.Box spring beds in a large room with a bathroom in front, everything clean and very quiet. In the bathroom, a few hooks on the door or wall could be helpful, but basically everything is there. We didn't hear any noise from other guests, even though the hotel was busy. The staff is well trained in all areas, very attentive and always friendly. The restaurant is also worth a visit. You can dine here in a pleasant, well-kept atmosphere. The selection could be a little larger, but what is there is also fresh and tasty. The selection of drinks was very good, i.e. large and of good quality. When the weather is nice you can also sit and enjoy in the courtyard.There are also enough parking spaces at the house and nearby.To explore Warendorf city and its sights you only need a few minutes on foot. The cycle path network is excellent and well signposted. There are also parking and loading spaces for bicycles.Last but not least, the football fans among the guests were also able to watch the Champlon League final on the huge screen in the breakfast room.

First of all: I can't say anything about the rooms, nor about the normal menu and the normal food.I was at a meeting with about 35 people. In the evening we had a separate room, well furnished with several round tables, beautifully set, and the option of beaming with a large screen. 3-course menu, starter, main course (choice of 3 meals, one vegetarian), I had guinea fowl with curry risotto and spring vegetables, very good, dessert (choice of 2) I had creme brulee with fresh fruits, ice cream, raspberry mirror. Full marks for the food, cost €37.50, drinks a la carte. Despite the large group, service was in a great mood, was able to remember almost everything despite the chaos, was always friendly and responsive to special requests. For breakfast buffet: there was everything usual, rich, except sausage, cheese, each selection, eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh meat, different types of bread, also dark, different rolls, different jams (also Nutella), salads (egg, meat -, herring salad, etc.), various yoghurts, fruit salad, a selection of cereals, and something sweet: small cakes, mini muffins, etc. Apart from cucumber slices and tomatoes, I certainly didn't list everything. The house is well located to the center, there are also outdoor spaces, beautifully surrounded by plants, including well-maintained vines. Parking spaces are available, otherwise there is a public parking lot right next door, which is free on Saturdays from 2 p.m. and Sundays. Conclusion: great for a large gathering of friends, seminars, etc.

We have already celebrated a company party at Engel several times with our company.A big compliment to the owner family for the entire organization and implementation.The rooms are very clean and comfortably furnished.The buffet is prepared on time and very tasty.The staff is super nice and supports the party mood.We always rented a hotel room for the following night, the room is very clean and inviting. The bathroom has underfloor heating.I can only recommend the Hotel Restaurant “Im Engel” to everyone.Rainbow intensive care service Münster

A hotel with a retro touch. Very nice inside and out. The bed is soft, the eiderdown is just a little too small. You can buy wine in the so-called Boutiquewine. To choose, to color, to taste. I am attaching a few photos from the room and the town. The town was not destroyed by war and preserved in its old style.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel: nice rooms with very good facilities (yes, it's about 20 years old, but I like that style and everything was very well maintained). Service was also good. I didn't visit the restaurant. The only annoying thing was the WiFi, which wasn't exactly the fastest and although there is a nice, large TV, you can't provide it with adequate content.

A beautiful hotel in a quiet location with great rooms. The food was delicious, but the portions were a bit small for me. Unfortunately, the seminar room had no windows, so the air was used up very quickly. There were no sockets at the individual workstations/seats.

Very pleasant atmosphere, the boss is personally on site and takes care of everything. Very friendly. The breakfast buffet is absolutely recommended, super great, great selection from Bircher muesli to 5 different types of cheese, sausage and onion meat from a mason jar, portioned 👍 cereals, yoghurt and so on, bread, rolls and croissants. Simply delicious 😋We wish you continued success.

We visited the restaurant and were very satisfied. We found space in the garden, which is very nice and cozy. The food (asparagus, potatoes and schnitzel) tasted delicious and was beautifully prepared. The dessert, asparagus creme brulee + strawberries with peppermint pesto, was fantastic.
