Had a bite to eat with my friends. Atmosphere is like being back in time 20 years! Tables covered with candlesticks and friendly service. Highly recommended for 'Gutbürgerliche Küche'.

The two of us spontaneously went there for dinner on Sunday. The service was great, as was the view from the terrace. Unfortunately the food was bad. Roulades with red cabbage and potatoes, the red cabbage was from a jar and didn't taste good, the potatoes didn't taste good either, and the meat was good.Schnitzel Viennese style with fries if desired without mayonnaise/ketchup. The schnitzel was totally soggy, the fries were just small remnants of fries. With two drinks it was over €50, which was crazy. Can't recommend.

Anyone who likes old, slightly worn, English manor house style will feel at home here. Of course not everything is perfect, unfortunately there are differences in style, and maybe there are cobwebs in some corners that once needed to be removed, but all in all very nice. The location in the middle of the old town and less than 10 minutes from the open-air theater is brilliant. The breakfast was buffet style, so it was rich, but as a hotel owner I would talk to the server about the decoration, because whole plums on the sausage platter and a whole leek with the ham was a bit surprising. Scrambled eggs were also available upon request. I would like the gentleman who was there in the morning to be a little more friendly and customer-friendly. All in all, we would book the hotel again.

Hotel cannot be rated here. The restaurant had a very small menu, the dishes ordered were at the table quickly and the quality was impressive. The portion size was quite manageable, but the taste and freshness were definitely there.
