Nice little guesthouse in a very good and quiet location.Our rooms were not modern, but clean and sufficient for two nights.Unfortunately the house is noisy. We were unlucky that, among other things, we had a room on the ground floor next to the breakfast/lounge room. Unfortunately, the night ended very early in the morning.The breakfast was completely ok and sufficient. However, apart from normal rolls, we would have found grain rolls great.Really nice landlord, smooth process.Recommended for shorter stays (but no room on the ground floor).

The rooms upon arrival are clean and tidy. However, if after 8 days the bathroom is not even vacuumed or cleaned, it is unpleasant for the guest. For me, emptying trash is not room service. There were also days when the room wasn't even entered by room service and by that I don't mean the days on the weekend when there is no room service. The eggs at breakfast were regional, they came from the farmer. Otherwise everything is as cheap as possible from a discounter. Why a slice of sausage has to be cut into four parts is not clear to me. You won't find fresh fruit. We had to take our own bananas and apples with us for breakfast. What can be said about the coffee is that it tastes rather bad and if you want your coffee strong you're out of luck. A positive thing to note is that when we asked, we were given dark rolls instead of the light rolls.

Went to the Pension Edeltraud for the second time when we visited our friends in Bad Staffelstein. Walking distance to the city center and our friends' apartment. That fits, gladly again!

We were there for a long weekend, and I have to say, not only are the hosts friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, the breakfast was completely sufficient and the location of the house is ideal as a starting point for cycling, hiking or brewery tours. From here everything is easy to reach with all means of transport.

A great little guesthouse with modern rooms. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and the staff is super friendly. Was there for the second time now and would love to come back. If you would like to stay in Staffelstein, you will find very good accommodation in the Pension Edeltraud.

We stayed in the guesthouse for two nights. The rooms are modernly furnished and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a pleasant size. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite noisy, which makes it quite difficult to sleep in when the entire house leaves for breakfast at 7 a.m. The shutters on the windows are quite sensitive and rattle loudly when there is a light breeze. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is lovingly prepared and any requests or other concerns are addressed. The location is really good, the guesthouse is very central and we were able to visit all the shops, the thermal baths and the Staffelberg within a few minutes' walk.Definitely recommended for a short trip.

Actually wanted to stay from Friday to Monday. On the first day the toilet flush broke so the water wouldn't stop running. Was very disturbing throughout the night.Unfortunately the room was only partially clean - stains on the carpet, hair in the bed.Unfortunately there was only one, almost empty, toilet paper roll and since there is no room service on the weekend, there was no new one.Maybe it's the "old" house, but we could hear every step the people above us took. Then left after the first night.

Good breakfast, good beds, unfortunately no hairdryer in the bathroom and the sentence in the folder that you can borrow unfortunately doesn't work because you didn't see any staff from Sunday lunchtime to Monday morning, otherwise very clean!Free cake, coffee and tea in the afternoon

I felt comfortable there. Breakfast is good, everything was lovingly furnished, the room was clean and the location is also great. There were only two things to criticize. The toilet paper was almost used up and there was no replacement available. The coffee in the morning was also much too thin, actually just hot water. But I noticed it and then got a stronger one brewed. I received a friendly welcome and a friendly farewell. I can recommend the accommodation. Thanks

Everything is very clean.Not entirely modern, buta good starting point for a few days for hiking or biking activities in the region.Small but completely sufficient breakfast buffet.Everything family run.Sufficient parking spaces and storage areas for bicycles, in front of and behind the house and in the yard.I was already hiking here with another group of 9 people plus 1 dog in 2020.Everyone was happy with the accommodation they chose.
