Four stars for the room, the shower door was stuck, we were only there for two nights. Our new tenant must have complained that we wanted to sleep peacefully and that was possible. Pension Wolf is recommended, we were very satisfied.

So we've been here for 5 days now and what can you say... The boss was really nice, we arrived and we felt very welcome... The rooms are really nice and also very well stocked with everything you need. ..The bed was totally comfortable. The bathroom has everything you need and the balcony with table and chairs and even a lounger lets you end the evening well...You definitely can't complain about breakfast, everything you need is there... and if you ask if you can have different rolls the next day, that's no problem at all...Dinner was delicious and we were definitely full😅😅So totally recommendedIt's become a longer review, but it's also a well-deserved review :)

A beautiful country inn in an idyllic location. Very clean, bright, friendly rooms with every comfort.The Rupp family is super nice, every wish is fulfilled, the boss cooks deliciously, everything is fresh and tastes extremely good 👍 especially the Schäufele!The breakfast is varied and everything your heart desires is offered, especially the homemade jams and fresh fruit!We were more than satisfied all around and will come back!We would highly recommend the country inn!Family Koch AschaffenburgThank you for the wonderful time with you, dear Rupp family

were there for a few days. Positive: extremely clean room, fairly modern furnishings, good dinner at affordable prices, quiet location.Negative: Unfortunately, the hostess was noticeably tense and tense at all times (certainly also due to the Corona requirements, which were excessively observed throughout the entire house). We always had the feeling that we were being watched by her (including through the camera at the entrance). It was always noticed when we left the house or when we came back. Little privacy. Friendly, but rather bossy and tense.Contrary to what was described on the internet, the breakfast was really very simple, the same every day: that's not a problem if it is described that way. Rolls, sausage, cheese, jams, eggs, curds. Nothing more really. The internet said “rich”.Guest room also very rustic and simple.Overall, it's actually a nice guesthouse, but everything is kept rather simple - but in our opinion it's too expensive - unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right.We wouldn't recommend it anymore, there are much cheaper ones in the area with very good breakfasts.Two stars because unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable at all - but that's the most important thing on vacation...

Beautiful inn in a quiet rural area with well-equipped rooms, two of which have a large balcony, nice hostess, rich breakfast and inexpensive dinner if ordered in advance. You have to take trips into the surrounding area by car, highly recommended.

Nice guesthouse in a quiet, beautiful location not far from Muggendorf. Cozy and sparkling clean room. Breakfast was served on the terrace, but it could have been a little more extensive.

We have been coming to Gasthof Wolf every now and then while hiking for years because of the very good, typical Franconian food, the nice landlady and, last but not least, the Reckendorfer beer. This time we booked ourselves into the Gasthof Wolf for 3 days during the Corona period. The hygiene regulations were implemented in an exemplary manner. We felt very comfortable the whole time, which is ultimately due to the very nice and hard-working landlady, Ms. Rupp. The breakfast is good and plentiful - the rooms are clean, quiet and well equipped. WiFi was free. All in all a very successful stay.
