I recently stayed at this location and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Here is a breakdown of my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the Coburg Fairgrounds and within walking distance of the historic city center. It is also close to public transportation, making it easy to explore the area. There is also an underground parking lot which was easy to access and spacious for both small and large vehicles.My room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a modern bathroom. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, and I did not experience any connectivity issues.Upon check-in I was greeted by Mark who was friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, including both hot and cold dishes. The quality of the food was fantastic, and it was regularly replenished.I would recommend this location to other travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I would consider staying here again when visiting the local area.

I attended a seminar at this hotel this week and am extremely disappointed. The caterer is under the sun, I also discussed this with the hotel staff. Lunch is simply inedible, overcooked and sometimes indefinable.But the cleanliness in the hotel itself (breakfast room) also leaves a lot to be desired. The corner on the right behind the coffee machine doesn't seem to be cleaned; there is a real layer of dust there.The tables in the seminar room will probably not be wiped down either.Filling up at the buffet... none. When asked, all they say is: We are waiting for delivery. This was the situation even after an hour! Unfortunately, I don't have forever, because the seminar starts at a certain time.My colleagues from the seminar reported that the rooms were not cleaned either.Overnight guests who use the parking garage 24 hours a day pay €48 in parking fees from Monday lunchtime to Friday lunchtime. This came out during a conversation at break. As a driver home from the district, I should pay €60???When asked, it was explained that I wasn't staying overnight either... Where's the logic in that? Overnighters stand in the parking garage 24 hours a day, I from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.... The €12 was then reluctantly and sloppily refunded...In summary: Not a good address in our beautiful city of Coburg!

Very friendly hotel. Breakfast rich and varied. Parking garage for cars up to 1.90cm, otherwise no other parking options on site. Parking for larger cars can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.

I had booked the hotel for two nights. Had a room on the second floor. When I wanted to use the bathroom in the evening and lifted the toilet lid, I was shocked to see that the toilet was not only dirty but really disgusting. See photos. Furthermore, when I wanted to open the window there was dirt everywhere. This can also be clearly seen in the photos. Last but not least, I discovered that the room or the entire hotel does not have air conditioning. Of course, I went straight down to reception in the evening and complained about the cleanliness of the room. Unfortunately, the night porter couldn't offer a solution directly, but he took it up.The next morning I went straight back down to reception and showed the photos again and described the situation. They assured me that I would receive a solution in the afternoon. And I actually got a different room in the afternoon after I returned. At least they put a fan in here for me but this room wasn't really cleaned very well either.What was worst for me was no apology or attention. It would have been easy to buy a drink at the bar or something similar. None of this took place. The full price was also charged.Last but not least, I discovered that a parking space in the open parking garage costs €12 per night. Not exactly a bargain either.This shouldn't happen in a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, I and everyone and my colleagues will avoid this hotel in the future.A piece of advice to management: a new toilet seat costs €20 to €30 and saves a lot of trouble.A pity

We stayed at the hotel as a family with two children (6 months and 1.5 years) and a dog. We had a very, very nice large room, so the children could play a bit. We've had other things before and there was no place to play.Both the extra bed and the travel cot for the smallest and also the double bed were very comfortable and really large.I would also like to particularly praise the fact that a basket was prepared for the dog with a water bowl and some treats. We were very happy about that and so was our dog.The bathroom was clean and the older one was particularly happy about the bathtub.Breakfast left nothing to be desired. I was particularly happy about the coffee to go here.The staff was also very friendly. No matter whether at reception, the girls and boys from housekeeping or the ladies at breakfast.The only thing we see as a small disadvantage (but you're not in the room 24/7 all day) is that the rooms don't have air conditioning. Which can get quite warm in summer. Maybe you can think about a fan here? But in the end it didn't bother us much.We'd love to come back. Coburg was definitely worth a visit and when the kids are older we will definitely take a trip there again.Thank you for the wonderful time.

Hello dear hotel team - I felt very comfortable. The stylish room is very homely and the bed is comfortable, upper class! I thought it was nice that there was a bottle of sparkling water in the room in these hot temperatures! The staff was very accommodating ❤️
