We celebrated our wedding in the hotel in the Silberbergstube and were very satisfied. The food was great and the service from lovely Christa was perfect. We were able to easily personalize our decoration the day before and all of our wishes were taken into account. It was just absolutely fantastic.

I stayed at the Wagners Hotel in the Franconian Forest with my wife for five days.We spent relaxing days there and would like to share these positive experiences. The indoor pool is great and nice to relax. You could play billiards and table football for free. Yoga offer is worth mentioning. The food was very tasty. The hotel has a great, quiet location and plenty of parking.But unfortunately there are also some negative aspects. The carpet smelled very musty, the balcony door no longer works properly, it cannot be tilted or opened completely, the heating plates are not enough for the room in the cold season, in the cold season there should be at least one additional blanket in the closet that has bedside lamps constantly flickering. There was a very strong (too strong) smell of chlorine in the reception area every day. We ordered cocktails on two evenings. There was no one there but us and we waited over 10 minutes to order two cocktails. In addition, each of the four only tasted like alcohol, like a glass of Korn or vodka. The breakfast itself was rich and tasty, but it can't be that at 9 a.m., when breakfast is served until 10 a.m., there won't be any more fruit cocktails or scrambled eggs.

Overall, it's a nice place to spend a few nice days. The hotel has many options to keep yourself busy without having to incur additional costs. There is also a lot on offer indoors and outdoors for the children. The rooms were very clean, but despite all the care there was some damage. The food was very good so far, nothing was missing...

First of all I would like to say that the hotel is really okay for the price. However, I have a few comments.First of all, the positive points. The facility itself is really nice. The hotel itself really has potential.We booked 4 standard rooms and due to a misunderstanding we received 2 plus and 2 deluxe rooms. There was a really great deal of accommodation regarding the surcharge!! My husband and I stayed in a deluxe room, which was clean, had a great (rainforest) shower and a nice terrace with seating. The cleanliness was very good. Unfortunately, there were already some deficiencies, so in our opinion the room might no longer be as deluxe in 1-2 years.The indoor pool is really nicely designed, the water is warm and there are some seating options. The outdoor area was already closed at the beginning of October, so we could only look at the pools. Everything really didn't seem inviting at all and, in our opinion, should be urgently renewed.The breakfast is very monotonous and not particularly extensive. It's probably fine for two days, but I wouldn't want to have breakfast there for longer. We had lunch on the first day, which was fine. The menu isn't big, but it's enough and it was tasty. We skipped half board based on previous reviews. Here I would like to make two unsung recommendations... 1. Gasthof zum goldenen Anker and 2. Gastof Roseneck 1-2 places further. Both were really good, both in terms of food and service.In terms of service, we unfortunately have to say that there is a lack of specialist staff in the hotel. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately support staff don't compensate for skilled workers.

The hotel is located in the beautiful Franconian Forest. Hiking, cycling, motorcycling, or just relaxing. We learned to appreciate the hotel and the staff through almost monthly stays. If you want to treat yourself or are disabled, choose one of the deluxe rooms. These are at ground level and the shower is easily accessible. There is no elevator. To feel hungry again, the indoor swimming pool or sauna are available free of charge. Wagner's Hotel is suitable for all age groups and offers a varied range of leisure activities.

Stayed in this hotel with the bikes for three days. The connections to the cycle paths are perfect. The rooms were equipped with everything needed and the terrace was perfect for taking advantage of the last rays of sunshine. Breakfast, which was included in the price, met the standard. A big plus point was the sauna. After a long day of cycling, there was nothing better than relaxing with the hourly infusions. All in all, I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

remote 3-star country hotel that is getting old. Rooms have been partially renovated, but with cheap furniture that is already missing edges. The hotel has mainly Indian staff: very nice and attentive; therefore also Indian-influenced cuisine = delicious. The German dishes (schnitzel, cordon bleu,...) are cheap and not very tasty frozen products.Breakfast was basic, but at least with (hard) boiled eggs and scrambled eggs (no bacon 🥓 😞)Indoor pool & steam room are okay.I survived it. I certainly won't come a second time.If you're looking for a cheap place to stay with decent food, then you've come to the right place!Would you like to be pampered?Then invest a little more money in a 4-star hotel 😉

I would reject rooms 310 and 311 because the goods delivered there are constantly occupied and are very loud all day long. The kitchen should also try to offer a little more variety and more Franconian dishes. The breakfast is plentiful and good.

A few days ago I was a guest at this hotel with colleagues and a group of people with disabilities. The rooms were functional and sufficient; sometimes it was difficult for our residents to get into the shower trays because they are not at ground level. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, always helpful and tried to make our stay easier. Everyone enjoyed the food and was varied and always plentiful.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Wagners in the Franconian Forest and would like to share our experiences.We came as a family for a week with 4 people and had 2 double rooms. One was modernized with light laminate, which looked friendly, the other was not yet modernized and had dark carpeting.You can tell that the hotel is getting old. And you see a need for action here and there.The staff were consistently very friendly and accommodating, which made our stay very pleasant.The breakfast buffet was sufficient and offered a good selection.The evening buffet was also very varied and impressed with a selection of different warm dishes, fresh salads and delicious desserts.The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and invite you to take relaxing walks.Conveniently, there is a bike rental nearby, which we really liked.The adjacent outdoor pool area, which is advertised on the website, is in serious need of renovation as many tiles are missing and the condition is generally in need of improvement.Nevertheless, we were glad that the pool even existed because it offered us a welcome way to cool off on hot days.Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential, which unfortunately has not yet been fully exploited. We hope to see some upgrades in the next few years and will be happy to come back to see what has been done.Kind regards
