On the journey from the Baltic Sea coast to South Tyrol, we love staying overnight in the Münchberg area. For the first time in the Hotel Café Dora.The keys were handed over without any problems using an intercom system and an automatic device. The rooms are very friendly and absolutely clean. Despite the proximity to the motorway, the rooms are absolutely quiet and ensure a good night's sleep.Breakfast is served on plates, both savory and sweet. Completely sufficient, not everything could be eaten. The drinks could be ordered individually.So everything was great, our dog also felt very comfortable.We'd love to come back,Price/performance ratio is right.

A legendary family business with a first-class selection of cakes and tarts. There really is something for every taste!Above the café, which also has a very nice winter garden and a wonderful outdoor terrace, there are very nice and, above all, clean rooms with their own bathroom. Based on my experiences, I can only recommend it. The boss himself also prepared breakfast in the morning and was very attentive and accommodating. Definitely again!!!

About 3 weeks ago we booked 1 night + breakfast directly with Mr. Gollwitzer using the contact form. After we received a booking confirmation, we were looking forward to a short break. Unfortunately, after arriving today, we were informed that no room had been reserved for us. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and tried to find a solution. In consultation with her superior, it was then decided to move us to another accommodation. We weren't asked if we wanted that. We declined and will definitely not book a room at Café Dora again.

We actually wanted to have breakfast here today as we were passing through... but the reception was soooo unfriendly (first greeting sentence: "Have you reserved???", with an iron expression that didn't lighten up when we tried to be friendly counter), that after a second of reflection at the table that was graciously assigned to us, we decided: let's leave and head to the next café, Café Kießling... And: It was so worth it!

The rooms are simply furnished but very clean. What we were missing was a parasol or something similar because we couldn't sit on the balcony in the heat. Seat cushions would be appropriate for the chairs. Otherwise we were very satisfied. The breakfast is rich and lovingly prepared. The staff were very friendly and we would book a stay again.

Great selection of cakes (all extremely tasty), large pieces, good coffee, fast professional service. Plus very decent prices.Quiet terrace and a tastefully furnished winter garden. Almost nothing more is possible. We were very satisfied.

Very friendly and patient staff ❤️ child-friendly and accommodating 🥰 the cakes we were able to try (there were 7 of us) all tasted very, very tasty!We have now also tried the ice cream, so to add: Very tasty! Even the smallest child was asked what kind of ice cream they could have in their sundae ☺️Toilet is a little older, but clean 👍

We spent one night as a family (2 adults and 2 children) at Café Dora. Contactless and hassle-free check-in. We had a modern, pleasant room with a shower, toilet and balcony. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the rich breakfast rounded off our stay. We felt very comfortable.
