I don't like writing bad reviews.... Booked at short notice via Booking as an overnight stop.... well, OK as an emergency solution. Rooms soberly furnished, more suitable as an overnight stay for a mechanic. Feeling good is different. But it was clean. Breakfast in the morning - the gentleman barely got out a friendly good morning, food goes like this, slightly hard baked ready-made rolls, muesli... oatmeal and chips... that's it. Nothing fresh, not a piece of cucumber, not a tomato or anything like that. Conclusion: not again... It's a shame I've always had good experiences with booking until now

Contrary to other reviews, we got something to eat shortly before the kitchen closed and were very grateful for it. We had a good time and nothing was missing.

Hello, we were with a group of 4 men in this small but nice guesthouse. I can't leave what many people have written about here. We had a great relationship with the innkeeper, his wife and his two boys. The boys were very hard-working, the innkeeper's wife even cooked us a meal of our choice, delicious roulades with dumplings and red cabbage, thank you very much for that again 😋and you get along very well with the innkeeper if you know how to get along with each other. So dear guests, sometimes it's like that in life "as it calls into the forest, sometimes it calls out again" we would definitely come back 👍 Greetings the bikers

Rooms functional without luxury, a little smile from the host would have rounded it all off. Nevertheless, hats off, well-renovated building, new windows everywhere and everything clean and tidy. You have to admire and support those who still commit to something like this.

The service was great. Cosy little family hotel, with good food and cosy area. However the internet wasn't stable, and the sheets wasn't comfortable to sleep on - would prefer linen over cotton.

We had a family celebration there with about 30 people. The bowling alley in the property encouraged us to celebrate there. The food was served as a buffet as agreed and all of our guests enjoyed it very much. A large part was “really home-cooked”. Really great. There are two bowling alleys in the basement. They worked without any problems. We had a lot of fun playing. Until the innkeeper, not very kindly, explained that the playing had to stop. It was 10:15 p.m. There are house guests in the rooms and they should sleep in peace. Understandable, but it was done differently and the sound makes the music. An impossible appearance for a restaurateur. From around 10:30 p.m., the guests who weren't playing were only given something to drink upon request. There would certainly have been many more drinks. But apparently the innkeeper had no interest in extending the celebration. It's a shame, because otherwise we really liked the atmosphere. And again: the food was very good!Addendum to the innkeeper's answer:Afterwards I talked to my guests about the evening. We have come to the unanimous conclusion that only you are right regarding the discrepancies raised. We really behaved impossibly. I don't want to blame it solely on the alcohol. We're also a little anti-social. After reading through the other reviews (some of which are certainly made up to tarnish the place) we are of the opinion that this must be an unfortunate isolated incident!Keep being friendly and calm. We hope you enjoy implementing your special business model. Best regards! Thomas Fischer

I can only agree with the many reviews that describe the unfriendliness of the owners. From the owners' responses to criticism, you can tell that there is no experience of catering here.We were literally kicked out at 9:59 p.m. because the innkeepers wanted to finish work at 10 p.m. So without notice. We were threatened with key confiscation, “there will be no breakfast tomorrow” and police. All attempts to mediate the situation have failed. We are shocked by the treatment of the guests.Never again!Addition to the accommodation's comment from June 29, 2024:Dear owner,It is correct that you specify the opening times. Nevertheless, it is easy to communicate with your guests and ask again in good time before the bar closes if anyone would like anything else. But I also observed other guests throughout the evening that they don't serve or address their guests but rather wait until their guests get in touch. That's not how it works and that's not how it works. It is not a given that guests know your house rules. If this is so important to you, why not communicate it until 1 minute before the fear. And this very topic and also your mushy manner are mentioned in many comments from other guests. Even local restaurateurs confirm that you are known for your style. And when you read your answers you can only shake your head. I can only think of one example of a guest of yours, to which you replied that you have never had to give a guest so many seconds for breakfast. Only because the lady thought the portions of the food were too small but otherwise rated everything else positively. This is a disgrace and disrespectful! That's why you should take criticism into account and don't let situations escalate so much (such words are used when people try to throw us out on the street at 10 p.m.). What you do is gastronomy and a service where you have to be able to deal with the sensitivities of the guests. And unfortunately you can't do that. And as far as I know, a dozen in business is not a crime, but rather kindness and sympathy.
