Our daughter spent 3 wonderful days here with her class. Everything is clean and in good condition. The food was great and the kids had a great time. Highly recommended!!

We stayed here for a weekend with a tent and were looked after in a friendly and very helpful manner throughout the weekend. A very nice and loving atmosphere and management. We can definitely recommend it. As vegetarians, we also found the breakfast to be quite good. It is also a youth hostel and not a luxury hotel, which is something you should always keep in mind. 😍

We also went to the tent children's meeting at the youth hostel's campsite. We liked it very much. Very nice youth hostel with a nice campsite and a great panorama of the reservoir. The children found the playground very nice. Because the campsites are slightly higher, we always had a good view of the children. We had booked breakfast and it was very rich and tasty. We have decided to definitely come back again.

We stayed with our tent at the Taltitz youth hostel for two nights as part of a tent children's meeting and were completely thrilled! Fantastic location, super warm hosts, delicious breakfast! Our every wish was fulfilled! The outdoor area has great pitches for tents and other camping vehicles! We will definitely come back!

We went to the first holiday camp for adults in the beautifully located youth hostel and really enjoyed the time, the activities and the food - a big thank you to Cassy and the entire team. More like this!!!!However, we were also very lucky with the weather.

The parking space at the Taltitz youth hostel is a real discovery for motorhome travelers. The location right on the Pirk dam is simply fantastic and offers a breathtaking view. The pitches themselves are spacious and well maintained.Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and helpfulness of our colleagues on site. They are available to provide advice and support and ensure a pleasant atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are always clean and well-maintained, which makes your stay even more comfortable.The expansion of the parking space was very successful. The parking spaces are at ground level and offer enough space. The option to rent boats and SUPs completes the offer.The only small downside: membership in the DJH is a prerequisite for using the parking space. However, anyone who is already a member or who purchases a membership at short notice will be rewarded with an unforgettable stay.Conclusion: The mobile home parking space at the Taltitz youth hostel is an absolute recommendation for everyone who is looking for peace, nature and a warm atmosphere. The combination of a fantastic location, good facilities and friendly staff makes your stay a special experience.

Unfortunately, the price for a celebration with a buffet is not right here. Sometimes you pay less or the same for a buffet in restaurants or similar and you get a lot more out of your money.Not recommended for a celebration.I can't judge the rooms or camping in general.And the boss herself somehow seems a bit over-excited and not really professional. At least that's how it seemed to me. Everything was mixed up and no correct statements could be made, things were not noted down and this led to errors etc.So for me it's a no.Addendum: Just because my review was written now doesn't mean I was there just a few days ago. Sometimes I take longer to evaluate or only realize after months that I haven't yet evaluated. Sometimes I also talk to those involved who were there about the topic in order to create an assessment.I absolutely don't understand this accusation that I wasn't there, or even question my rating.I just said that the price-performance ratio here isn't right for a buffet and in my opinion and in those I've spoken to about it, that's just the way it is. The price is too high for a youth hostel, as I can get more variety in the buffet in restaurants or hotels for the same and sometimes cheaper price.And I'm not angry at all. I'm just writing my factual opinion about how I experienced something.

The children, young people and carers from the children's center “Bunte Villa Kids & Co.” from Freital were guests in this beautiful, idyllic youth hostel from June 26th to 28th, 2024. The very friendly, flexible and courteous staff helped you relax and left nothing to be desired.All the food was prepared with love, the rooms were very clean, questions could be answered by all employees, so we could enjoy the 3 days with the kids. We'll definitely come back when the dam is full... 😊 The kids and the entire BuVi team say thank you for EVERYTHING!!!
