Surrounded by a moat, the conference center has a relaxing atmosphere and creates good working conditions. The former boys' boarding school was completely renovated and almost only the outer shell of the building remains. Inside, experienced architects created a meeting and accommodation facility of current standards. You immediately feel at home and find all the opportunities on site to meet and celebrate in small and large groups.

Beautiful hotel with great service :)I thought it was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The service was great. My room had a beautiful view, a spacious bathroom and great furnishings. However, some of the walls had a few chips and scratches, maybe that would bother someone else. For example, the Epoch Festival was very easy to reach by car, but I don't know what other places and events in the area are like on foot or by public transport, so I'm only giving it 4 stars.

The hotel is in an extremely idyllic location! Fantastic! And only this peace. There was no annoying noise, no noise! At no time. Never. That was very, very pleasant. Actually priceless in our loud and stressful world these days...

Very nice location and well renovated rooms. The rooms on the 3rd floor have a steep staircase inside, which is rather unsuitable for older people, the reception also warns about this.The breakfast was ok and not easy to find, but you can ask and get a friendly answer.

There is no denying the particularly beautiful surroundings of this place.The guest house itself has obviously been extensively restored.The surrounding area is also very beautiful and invites you to take a walk....Can you still criticize??? We make it easy:Even if the guest house looks great from the outside, you have to sleep inside. If the elevator is still to be rated positively, the sliding doors to the rooms have a “prison feeling”.After a short time, we noticed a bad toilet smell in the double room we had booked.But unfortunately we couldn't open the windows because furniture had been placed in front of them.This "furniture" wasn't even Ikea quality and in my opinion doesn't fit in this house 🏡. The very soft beds also shift when you approach each other.But maybe that wasn't intentional because there was a large Bible in the corner of the room.Anyone who likes old buildings that were then defaced with chipboard furniture will be shocked.If you can live with that, the sliding doors or windows that are difficult to open won't shock you.

Haus Overbach in Jülich Barmen has a very idyllic location. Unfortunately there is nothing in the place apart from a beer garden.The rooms on the first and second floors are good... no one would take me to the third floor because you can only reach your bed via a "chicken ladder". In addition, the rooms are very warm in summer.The service staff is very attentive and friendly.Oh yes, nutrias live in the pond that borders the hotel

All in all a very pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable, the seminar rooms tidy and well-equipped. The staff was also very friendly and the surrounding nature was beautiful.Unfortunately there are few options for activities nearby. In addition, the food was always served very quickly and sometimes there wasn't enough for everyone.

Price performance OKWhich wasn't so great.The rooms are located right next to a football field and a school.Not really recommended for vacation. In the evening you hear football training and tomorrow the children talk about school.Reception was not manned at 8 a.m. as expected and closed an hour earlier as described. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly with the key handover.The rooms were very large and clean.The environment and location are also great.I expected a little more for breakfast.You had to walk into another building to do this.Otherwise, I have a recommendation because everything went smoothly and without reception.Anyone who is passing through or has to work is in good hands here.
