The property with its suites and chalets offer a great opportunity to take some time out and enjoy the Bavarian Forest. What should be highlighted are the hospitality, the uncomplicated contact, the peace and the great facilities of the accommodation. Dogs are very welcome.

We have just spent 6 nights at the Forstgut with our dog. It was a very nice time. The house was great and we felt very comfortable.Fresh bread rolls were delivered to our house every morning and in the evening we could relax in our own private spa on the terrace.We'd love to come back!

The forest estate convinced us - even thrilled us - in many ways and gave us a wonderful break in the countryside. Starting with its owners, who were not only extremely friendly and accommodating, but also fulfilled one or two special requests in a relaxed manner and with a smile on their faces.Our chalet (the “Jagahaus”) is thoughtfully and lovingly furnished and looks like new. Everything you need in everyday life is there. The peace and the ambience with the adjacent forest on the terrace with hot tub are simply a dream. Due to the distance to the other chalets, you are virtually undisturbed here.The Forstgut concept with its additional goodies such as the “visit from the chef” or the “glass kitchen” complements the visit - if you want that - smartly and in an unobtrusively elegant way.We would like to thank the von Schnurbein family for their hospitality and the wonderful break in the countryside and say “see you soon” with anticipation!

What a wonderful place in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Bavarian Forest near Regen! The perfectly equipped chalets are simply great - with their own whirlpool on the terrace with a view of the greenery, wood-burning fireplace, own kitchen and beautiful interior design. The very attentive hosts fulfill every wish and the breakfast with regional products alone is worth the trip. :-) Clear recommendation for all bird watchers, forest bathers and energy collectors: go there and experience it for yourself!

We were just able to spend a really great week on the forest estate. Simply a very special place with great hosts.The chalet we rent is particularly lovingly, luxuriously and extremely sustainably furnished. We didn't lack anything.The area around the Bavarian Forest also offers a lot for day trips!We'll definitely be back.

We have a very beautiful, spacious and extremely tastefully decorated suite. When we arrived yesterday there were even food bowls and treats available for our two dogs. This morning's breakfast basket was well stocked and contained everything your heart could desire. Our dinner yesterday from the Glaserlküche was excellent. The entire complex is beautifully embedded in nature and is very beautiful and well maintained. If you're looking for pure relaxation, you've come to the right place. You can go on various hikes of varying lengths directly from the forest estate.

All in all, an incredibly nice place to treat yourself to a break. The individual chalets were built and furnished with a lot of love, as was the entire outdoor area of this chalet village.We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and felt like we were in good hands right from the start.All the offers that are available to book are well thought out, such as the barbecue package or the picnic backpack with everything you need.We stayed there for 3 nights and will book again soon, as the name says it all:Space. For valuable time.

We stayed in one of the suites for a long weekend and loved it. A wonderful, quiet location. Great landscape with numerous opportunities for activities and relaxation. In addition, you can quickly find yourself in the rain if you need something. The suite was very modern, bright, open, airy, great and equipped with everything you need. The sauna is a real joy. We had nothing to complain about and the service was excellent. Great hosts whose dedication to their concept is evident. We would love to come back for a relaxing time to breathe deeply and relax!

A very cozy place for a short getaway. Our chalet (more like a tiny house) was very well appointed--nice kitchen with all the necessary gadgets, sauna, and hot tub on the deck overlooking a pretty stream in back. The living area had a big couch, TV, and fireplace, and there is ample firewood to burn. Our dog was very welcome, too. The general area (Bayerischer Wald) was beautiful with lots of opportunity to hike. The local towns seem to cater to tourists so there's plenty of shopping and places to eat and drink. The local town (Regen) also has a nice-looking brewery. Although it was just my wife and I, Forstgut looks like a great place to have a family reunion or wedding party. And the Deep Green Lounge, would be a great place for a group to hang out.

We can only recommend the forest estate 100%!The chalets are beautiful, spotlessly clean, well equipped, wonderfully quiet and therefore perfect for a relaxing time for two!Enjoy the tranquility of the Bavarian forest and the chirping of birds in the hot tub on the terrace in the morning and evening, and excursions to the beautiful mountains during the day: this is pure relaxation and recreation!The Schnurbein family were extremely friendly and warm, approachable at any time and yet never intrusive, so we were well looked after and enjoyed our time at the forest estate immensely 🩷

We spent a weekend in a wonderful chalet in the forest estate. The house is absolutely well thought out in terms of layout and aesthetics, simply to feel comfortable at the highest level. The concept is implemented lovingly and with the highest quality, from the compostable organic coffee capsule to great breakfast baskets and culinary highlights that can be ordered to easy online ordering and delivery in baskets and jars to the front room of the house. Great service, unobtrusive and responsive to all special requests. We were thrilled and definitely not the last time here!

Our first stay at the forest estate in November 2023 was entirely positive. We received a very friendly welcome and the chalet really left nothing to be desired. We can only recommend everyone to spend a few days here. We are also looking forward to our next time. Greetings from Frankfurt

Great place to relax in an upscale and private atmosphere. Very pleasant owners, fresh rolls every day and various packages to spend a relaxed and uncomplicated quiet time. Snacks and bowls were also available for our dog when we arrived. The attached forest and the fenced gardens of the chalets are ideal for a holiday with a dog. We'd love to come back to just unwind for a while.

I have traveled a lot around the world. But I was speechless and thrilled by everything. Friendliness, cleanliness, helpfulness and special requests are implemented without hesitation. The Schnurbein family is the symbol of passionate hotel business at a very high level. Something that has become very rare.
