The property and location is spacious, quiet and very idyllic. Laid out like a small park and lots of parking spaces. Great walks to nearby lakes possible. Breakfast was sufficient and extensive and special requests were taken into account. It was a very pleasant stay. It would also be desirable to have a charging station for electric cars and outdoor lighting from the parking lot to the hotel entrance. Best regards

Today we had lunch with friends at Gut Altholz. The location, the ambience and the building are breathtakingly beautiful. Certainly a great location for weddings and other celebrations. The lunch was super tasty, the service was attentive and friendly, the price/performance ratio was absolutely ok… we will definitely go there again

We had our wedding anniversary in July 2024 organized by Mr. Hutter in Gut Altholz and were extremely disappointed with the service. The food was served an hour late, even though he had already made a meal preparation request while drinking his coffee. The drinks were only brought after over an hour, but then incorrectly or not at all because they had obviously forgotten. The staff was stroppy and completely overwhelmed - four people for almost 100 guests is simply far too few!!!!! Apart from that, it was obviously an external service provider who was hired without transparency and open communication with us as to whether we would even think it was ok.Our son still hadn't received his food in the pavilion at 10 p.m. When we asked Mr. Hutter about it while drinking tea in the garden, he brushed us off and said he would take care of it. When he finally brought the food himself, he denied any guilt and blamed everything on the kitchen and the service. He also cheekily said that we were probably “out of place”. This was particularly annoying because our daughter's meal, which was served while she was away, was still on the table. Mr. Hutter apparently expected us to still be sitting firmly in our seats almost two hours after starters without going to the bathroom or checking on our children - that's just ridiculous! His unprofessionalism continues to this day. He denies any responsibility, which is why we have now called in our lawyer.Drinks were generally served without ice cubes, although we had expressly pointed out several times in advance that we needed ice cubes in the Aperol and Lillet drinks and Mr. Hutter assured us that this would "of course" be served with ice cubes. The promised "tree shade" at the wedding was a bad joke - the blazing sun made it unbearable, and although several guests had asked for parasols, this was refused by the waitress on Mr. Hutter's instructions. This is simply inconsiderate and unprofessional at the expense of the health of guests who could have suffered sunstroke!!!!Mr. Hutter boasts grandly in the preliminary interview, but what was delivered in the end was completely unprofessional. We allowed ourselves to be blinded by his “promises”. The service was virtually non-existent, but is of course included in the inflated drink prices. The invoice was also completely wrong - everything was rounded and the receipts were obviously wrong, even with the wrong date!!! We were obviously ripped off here with the wrong bill, false promises and service that was subpar.Unfortunately, we were only able to visit the pavilion shortly before the wedding. However, we were assured that it would always be clean and maintained. Unfortunately that wasn't the case either. Dirt everywhere on the floor. Some dirty covers! Cobwebs tripping hazards on the dance floor. The so-called “wedding room” was also a disappointment. It urgently needs renovation, everything is really outdated. I would describe it more as a guesthouse, not a hotel. And then 130€ for a double room with breakfast in Plattling - the price-performance ratio is not right here at all.We were able to book an additional room at short notice, which was strange since the guesthouse was "fully booked".The location is nice, but that was the only positive thing about the event. We allowed ourselves to be blinded by the lofty promises in the preliminary conversation and deeply regret it. I would no longer use Mr. Hutter's services and would advise anyone who wants to get married here to put everything in writing, from the process to the ice cubes! Nothing verbally agreed upon is put into practice here!

A single room for a friend and a double room for me and my son have been booked for 8 weeks.||Money was already debited 3 days in advance.||Upon arrival it's awesome: we are overbooked because of a wedding!!! …

We celebrated our wedding in the garden hall in May of this year and from the first moment we felt very well looked after. The property is beautiful. Ms. Urban fulfilled all of our wishes and was always open to our concerns. Mr. Hutter, who introduced himself to us as the caretaker at the time, used his experience to eliminate any uncertainties. Even though there was a second wedding that day and the staff was busy, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, we still talk about it often. It was a wonderful and unforgettable day. Everything was just right for us and we plan to celebrate our next wedding anniversary there. Thank you all! Great job from all of you.

There is a lack of staff in the kitchen and service - the lunch menu took 4 hours - the asparagus was rock hard - nothing was salted
