The Löwenburg is always worth a visit.A game night takes place here every Friday.You can also enjoy football games on an impressive 100-inch screen.The food is always delicious and the hospitality is first class - no one has to wait long.The owners and staff are extremely accommodating, and a special motto applies here:"You come as a guest and leave as a friend!"We always enjoy being here.

Today we were in the Löwenburg with around 50 people from our biker group. Even though we were registered and were the only guests at the time, the service and especially the kitchen were absolutely overwhelmed.Taking the order went quite well. But that was it!It was cold and coffee and cocoa were the preferred drinks. The cocoa wasn't hot and I waited an hour for my coffee. Probably even longer if I hadn't asked.It was the same with food. Since the menu was already very modest, currywurst with fries was often chosen. It would be nicewould have been if the food hadn't been lukewarm.I was spared this fate. I didn't even receive the neck steak I ordered. After everyone else had finished eating, I asked at the counter for my neck steak. It was then suggested to me that my food had gone out of the kitchen, but of course they couldn't tell me where it had gone. Well, at least not at table 19, where I was sitting.It was my first time in the Löwenburg and certainly the last time.As I have already written, the staff is absolutely overwhelmed.But I still got full. In a chip shop on the way home. The food was even hot.

Simply a great team, no wish is left unfulfilled.The ambience is really very cozy and elegant at the same time.Perfect for a cozy evening or a dinner for two.The food is absolutely top class.Absolutely recommend.

I can only rate the restaurant here: Incredibly great and rustic restaurant with hot stone dishes (steaks or even a burger to grill yourself). Of course there are also “ready-made” dishes.But the team here on site is awesome! Super friendly and always funny sayings, so the whole evening was just awesome! It was mentioned to us as an insider tip and we can just pass it on.

Back today for a wheat while hiking (€4.90).Was my 3rd visit - partly with family. Service today was very quick and friendly, and I don't remember anything negative from previous visits. The location is really great for stopping off while hiking (e.g. Künstlerweg) or cycling (Sieg Cycle Path).

Were there relatively late last night to have a quick drink. Although it was apparently already the end of the day and there were no other guests there, we were allowed to sit down, were served very quickly and friendly, the innkeeper entertained us very well, candles were put out especially for us and blankets were brought to us because it was starting to get cold , asked several times if we needed anything else, brought snacks... and you could even play billiards.Super cozy, great atmosphere, extremely nice team. Highly recommended!

We got bullied when the kids played too close to the fence. Reading the other reviews, this sounds pretty familiar. If you're going to buy service for expensive money, then AT LEAST you shouldn't be bullied.

We spent a wonderful afternoon in the beer garden right on the Sieg. It's right on the bike path and, luckily, it's open every day (including Mondays)! A great ambience, inside and out. Very friendly operators and an attentive, friendly team. Absolutely top value for money 🔝 We had wine spritzer and two large portions of French fries. We will definitely come back to try the “Löwenburger” (you can build it yourself at the table on hot stone). Thanks for the great hospitality!

Went there again yesterday, as always a great visit with friendly people!I absolutely can't understand the reviews here, the whole team and also the management father and son are super friendly and accommodating.Don't be fooled by some of the reviews, form your own opinion and convince yourself of the great ambience and great service and if you complain about the price, please go shopping yourself and let such a big store run with all the costs 👍🏼All the best, see you soon 🙏

Went to dinner in the Löwenburg today. Great service, really nice people and a great location. Food was okay. Prices, many complain about the conditions in the catering industry, but there is no other way. All guests should consider paying or there will be no more restaurants. That would be a great shame. We thank you for the nice evening and will come back.

Super nice service and a great location right on the Sieg. Even in the best weather, we always got a seat in the beer garden without a reservation. And Spaten just tastes good 🍻☺️

I just wanted to take a look at it and was immediately asked why I would walk across his terrace.Probably because I had a dog with me. Very rude. Those who came here urgently need to learn how to deal with potential guests.We definitely won't come again.
