Warm welcome and comfortable stay!I was a guest at the UHU guesthouse in Cologne Dellbrück a week ago and can only rate my stay positively. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed and given helpful information about the parking options, whereupon I decided on a parking space. The room in the guest house was very spacious and, with a large desk, offered ideal conditions for my work during my business trip.What is particularly positive is the bed with a firm mattress on which I could sleep wonderfully. Breakfast, served in the adjacent hotel, offered a good selection of sweet and savory options. The cleanliness of my room was also impeccable, so I felt completely comfortable.I will definitely stay here again on my next stay in Cologne!

A great hotel on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Cologne. We checked in here for one night because we were at a concert at Club Volta. The Carlswerk and the Palladium are also not far away. The rooms were clean, very quiet and the breakfast left nothing to be desired.

A nice hotel, in a good traffic location, especially towards Cologne city center or the trade fair or the LANXESS Arena. Friendly employees and a great breakfast buffet.Anyone who comes to my e-car and books a space in the parking garage (€10 isn't exactly cheap for me) can charge for free.Sustainability is also very important. Finally a hotel that accepts the customer's request and does not change the towels when they are hung up.

We wanted a large room and we got it, in the basement. The only drawback was that the signage wasn't so clear and it should have been outside the elevator.The Uhu guesthouse is very well maintained and tip top clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is beautifully designed and the food was fresh and plentiful.I'd love to come back.

We booked the “Deluxe Double Room” for two nights.Everything clean and very spacious.The staff at breakfast were always courteous to us as a family with 2 small children.BUT:My only point of criticism is the window in the bathroom of room 104. On the ground floor it faces the parking lot, only strips of foil. In the evening, practically every guest in the parking lot could see us showering... A nice hotel with nice rooms.The shower was at ground level, which was generally good, but it didn't have a door, so you had to be careful not to flood the bathroom.The breakfast was very tasty, the service staff was very attentive.

Cancellation on the day of booking is not feasible, as the hotel strictly enforces a policy requiring date changes to be requested at least 28 days in advance. This policy assumes an impractical ability to predict sickness nearly a month ahead. Initially, our first contact suggested canceling the booking with the promise of a voucher for rescheduling. However, an email received the next day contradicted this assurance, citing the 28-day rule as a reason for not providing a voucher. Upon calling to clarify our situation, we encountered an unprofessional and discourteous front desk representative who, regrettably, did not provide their name. Lacking empathy or sympathy, our experience leads us to advise against booking with this specific.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel with our two children and our dog and can only warmly recommend it. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are totally tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was very extensive and tasty, the ingredients were all fresh.We'd love to come back.

The large UHU stands in front of the main house. The place is the reception and the breakfast area. Very nice and informative staff. My room in the guest house next door: large, modern, friendly and functionally furnished. Opening windows and good blackout curtains. Umbrella and long shoehorn in the room. Clean.Iron in the entrance area on the ground floor and refrigerator with cold drinks (2 euros). A large table on the ground floor for playing games, for example. Elevator. Loving and well thought-out concept. Definitely have breakfast. Nice space. There is also a fine sense of gastronomy here. To feel good. The buffet is plentiful and the staff is friendly.Price/performance is right.The location to the SBahn is good. It takes about 8 minutes to walk into town.Even though the room faced the street, it was ok. The windows close well.

That's how I understand hospitality... it couldn't be better!I stayed with friends at the Hotel Uhu and went to breakfast together and looked at the house and rooms.The house is well maintained, well furnished, and you can find interesting features. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The service is very attentive and friendly.What for me said something about the "spirit" of the house is that the employees get together for breakfast together after the guests' breakfast time.

Stayed here together with four friends. We were given a very large and tidy room for the five of us. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent! Close proximity to the train station makes it a favourable place to stay if you want to visit Cologne.
