Our stay at Roomers was disappointing. While the hotel offers a luxurious ambiance and quality facilities, serious shortcomings in service and room maintenance overshadowed any positives. The bars are well-managed with outstanding cocktails, and the gym and spa were excellent. However, upon arrival, I noticed small stains on the sofa, which should not have been overlooked. The malfunctioning A/C was the biggest issue, leaving us uncomfortable and sleepless despite multiple reports. Additionally, we were interrupted in the morning by staff asking about check-out and housekeeping, which was unprofessional. The only compensation offered at checkout was free parking, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. Roomers positions itself as a high-end hotel, but the service and maintenance fell far below expectations. I would advise potential guests to consider other options for a more seamless experience.

Regular guest since mid-2020, now increasingly rare.Always Titanium or Ambassador status, absolutely no mention at check-in or in any other communication.Staff is in flow mode, no familiar faces after 5-6 months.- Services:Poorly trained, standard behaviorNot unfriendly, but no better than the average subcontractor employee in the 3-star range.Sometimes slow, sometimes unmotivated.Words, actions and any personal initiative that may appear appear forced, forced and do not create a hospitable atmosphere.- Room:Very stylish furnishings, but:Poorly maintained, poorly repaired, poorly replaced. No QM. (Or never there)Broken door handles, ungreased hinges on balcony doors, weathered wooden floors, screws not sunk. (On the balcony in front of the Jacuzzi)- Cleanliness:Very critical. In all areas that are important to me personally. Toilet not cleaned sufficiently, especially in the “important” places. Urine on the toilet seat, urine on the toilet seat.Residues, splashes of liquids on all kinds of surfaces, be it mirrors, the back of the bed, carpets, walls, doors and tables.Opened toiletries next to the sink. Dust in the places where you have to do more than just move the vacuum cleaner blindly. It's just stupid when exactly these areas are illuminated by LED strips.Sunshine + moving around the room: endless dust visible.Clogged drains, calcified windows, edges and aerators in sinks, showers and bathtubs.Whirlpool shows signs of long-term poor cleaning. Brown edges, hair in the drain, in the nozzles and on the shelves.Cigarette butts visible on the balconies in every imaginable place.- Gastronomy (hotel internal)Service at breakfast completely overwhelmed. No communication between each other, no fixed allocation of tables/areasThe quality of the food at breakfast is good, but nothing more.Room service: Ordered schnitzel, wondered why the size of the two parts varied so much.Ordered another one -> Aha, no more schnitzel. So the second part, weighing 30-40 grams, was probably the rest, which was then quickly served as a dish.Butter Chicken: Sauce is good, Chicken is of very poor quality and quantity. Price generally does not match the dishes mentioned.- Gastronomy (Izakaya, external, but in the hotel)- Service: Arrogant, unprofessional, rude.- Food: Outstandingly poor value for moneyOverall: Stressful, annoying and unnecessary stay. The trend has been falling since 2020, now the low point (for me personally).Check-out: October 26, 2024And when a hotel stops looking for a personal conversation about all of these topics, a line must be drawn.Thank you for the lovely stays, even if they were very few of many. Style Over Substance. The rooms are ridiculously designed. There is absolutely no place to spread out or even open more than one suitcase at a time for that matter. The toilet and shower are in the wall of the room with the rest of the bathroom - including massive bathtub - are in the middle of the room. And who would want to use this bathtub with a massive crack in the middle? Such a waste of space. I know the photos make it look like we're slobs, but we are most definitely not. There just isn't anyplace to put anything so it ends up all over the room. We only stayed one night, thank goodness, and I can't imagine trying to stay here multiple nights with this layout. It's not even close to city center so don't expect to walk anywhere other than places around the neighborhood, which in fairness is a nice neighborhood, but don't stay here if you want to walk to any of Munich attractions you know from photos and have read about. It's simply too far away from all of that.I have to say the from desk staff were wonderful and by the far the best part of this hotel.

Based on a recommendation, we booked the Roomers in Munich; we remembered the Frankfurt Roomers as very positive. We successfully won the battle against setting up in a completely incorrectly designed garage. The reception was very friendly and the room was ready to move into straight away. All information about the hotel and the times were given to us and given to us in writing. There was joy on Sunday breakfast until 12:00, how lovely. Then we went into the room. 5 stars? Worn furniture with lots of flaws. A strange smell, which luckily got rid of by airing it out, but that made the nights loud right next to the train. Urine stains from the previous person on the toilet wall. Lots of smudges in the shower and an unkempt drain. The hairdryer was missing until departure. Luckily we received the opener for the bottles in the minibar upon request. It was a big disappointment, but that's it.On Sunday at 10:50 a.m. full of anticipation for breakfast.Surprise! Today only breakfast until 11:00 a.m., colleagues are already dismantling everything. Only when we were told that this had not been mentioned to us, or that breakfast had been confirmed to us until 12:00 the previous day and that this had already been paid for, were we offered the à la carte breakfast in the Lobbabar. The lobby bar is nice for a cocktail in the evening, but not for a leisurely breakfast that we had planned. After another 30 minutes we received breakfast. Ray of hope... the friendly young man (trainee) who served it to us.However, the day didn't get any better. At around 2:30 p.m. I met the gentleman from housekeeping and asked when someone would come to clean our room and bring us new towels. Answer: same. At around 3:15 p.m. I called reception and asked again. 30 minutes later a lady from housekeeping came and asked if we wanted service? What part of a green glowing Make Up my Room don't you understand?45 minutes later an extremely unfriendly lady came, changed the towels, emptied the trash can and left without another word and without using a sweep or rag (not even in the bathroom or toilet). The next day we had breakfast, so it was a better start :-).The weather wasn't that good, so we quickly decided on a plan to go to the spa in the afternoon. Great spa area at first glance.Shower head broken. The hose shower hose is broken, the hook is loose, the infusion tube is clogged, the temperature is well over 90 degrees in the sauna......... . The stay there ended more quickly than planned. What should be highlighted is the friendly team in the bar, in service, excluding housekeeping, and at reception. The explanation that we are currently in a state of upheaval and that some things will be renovated doesn't help me much in my disappointment.Whether we give the hotel a second chance? Let's see

We often stay in luxury class hotels on business. When we asked for a quiet room on the upper floors, we were given a room above the supplier entrance and next to the elevator on the first floor. …

The Hotel Roomers impresses with its attractive and modern design, which immediately catches the eye and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer a high level of comfort, making the overall stay very pleasant.Unfortunately, the reception at check-in was rather disappointing. The staff didn't seem attentive and couldn't offer the friendliness and helpfulness that you would expect in a hotel in this price range. A warm welcome and a little more commitment would have been desirable here. The service at breakfast also left a lot to be desired. The staff often seemed overwhelmed and not adequately trained, which is unacceptable considering the prices charged for breakfast. While the food selection was good, more attentive service would have greatly improved the experience.Overall, Hotel Roomers is a nice establishment with a lot of potential, but suffers from average service that does not match the expectations of the quality of the hotel. With a little more care and dedication this place could truly be outstanding.

Exquisite suites, phenomenal service, a far cry from anything else Marriott and an elegant yet hip retreat in a very quaint city. The spa alone is worth a special trip.
