Very spacious and extremely well-kept rooms and the whole house is very well maintained and in great condition.Top location right on the lake and just a few minutes' walk into the center of Rottach-Egern.The breakfast is completely sufficient with excellent bread rolls and great service.Thank you very much - we will definitely come back!

Great location in Rottach-Egern, right on the lake!Lots of excursion options!A very nice host family, friendly, accommodating! Rooms and balcony are spacious and everything is very clean throughout the entire house! We felt very comfortable there ! The breakfast buffet is prepared with a lot of love, especially fried eggs and scrambled eggs! Nothing is missing there! We will be back !!!A visit to the distillery is also recommended, as is the selection of liqueurs etc., very good!

We went to Tegernsee for a long weekend and had great accommodation at the Hotel Fischerweber with a fantastic view of the lake. The breakfast and service also left nothing to be desired. All in all, a thoroughly successful weekend. We will definitely come back again.

The Hotel Garni Fischerweber has a fantastic location right on the lake, with its own lake access.The rooms and apartments are super nice and very clean.Breakfast with a fantastic view is very tasty and recommended.The Huber family is always available and very helpful when needed.You can ride a horse-drawn carriage with Mr. Huber (for a fee) and also take a look at his own schnapps distillery.We have been there 3 times and will definitely come back.

We came spontaneously for one night. Super warm welcome.Family business with adjoining distillery. Here the boss personally conducts everything.The breakfast was made and served with a lot of love.We were absolutely thrilled and would definitely like to come back.

Great family hotel with a great location. We had a view of the lake and the Wallberg. We were happy that we found this hotel. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable from the first minute. Breakfast was varied every morning, from sausage to jam to different egg variations and delicious juices. Everyone in this house was very friendly. We will come back in any case.

A beautifully located, family-run hotel with very well-kept rooms. You can enjoy a sufficient, healthy breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Tegernsee. The private lake section is also wonderful. We always enjoy coming back.

We stayed at the Fischerweber for a week and had nothing to complain about. Rooms in Bavarian style, the bathroom newly renovated. Breakfast due to Corona doesn't have a buffet, but there was everything you could want and if something was missing, just ask. Thank you very much to the Huber family for the lovely week. One thing is for sure, we will be back 👍

The Eger Bay on Lake Tegernsee in Rottach-Egern is also called Malerwinkel in local parlance. In the past, painters often sat here on the banks of Lake Tegernsee to paint the parish church of St. Laurentius in Egern, how its tower is reflected in the clear water of the lake with Wallberg and Setzberg in the background.It is precisely this famous postcard view of the Egerner Bay with the Malerwinkel that you can enjoy from the balconies of some of the rooms in the Hotel Garni Fischerweber am See. Rest and relaxation in one of the most beautiful places on Lake Tegernsee, the Malerwinkel in Rottach-Egern. The stylish hotel is located directly on the banks of Lake Tegernsee. A place with a traditional, family atmosphere.Built in 1729, “the Fischerweber” was already an expressive model of Bavarian-Alpine construction. As early as the 18th century, the residents of the farm earned extra income by fishing in Lake Tegernsee and weaving fabrics. Hence the name “Fischerweber”.Since 1895, the uniquely picturesque location of the cozy Fischerweber family business has attracted guests from near and far to spend their summer vacation here.In 1993, the historic Fischerweaver was dismantled and rebuilt true to the original in the nearby Glentleiten open-air museum on Kochelsee. In 2008, the so-called “Zuhaus”, the outbuilding of the old Fischerweber, followed. A historical chapel was also integrated into the so-called “Zuhäusl”. All buildings were made available to the museum as the “Fischerweber Foundation” and can be visited there today.The new “Fischerweber” was rebuilt in 1994 in a traditional style and combines modern comfort with a pleasantly warm atmosphere and genuine family hospitality. For people who appreciate a dignified atmosphere in a really beautiful house in an idyllic location, I can unconditionally recommend the “Fischerweber”.

The rooms with a view of the lake are very nice and also very clean, the cleaning ladies are very nice and friendly. But you should also keep in mind that there is a very busy road between the lake and the hotel. Unfortunately we couldn't leave a window open at night because it was too noisy. It was such a thing with breakfast. When you arrived you had to fill out a form about what you wanted for breakfast. This was then served at the table. Since we were there for a week, breakfast was of course always the same every morning. We would have liked a little more variety. In addition to the rolls that were on the list, you could have put a croissant or something sweet in the bread basket, but you never came up with such an idea. At the bottom of the note it said: Yeast Tuten on Sundays. That Sunday I asked about it and the answer I got was - you should have ticked that - remember it was already a week ago that we filled out the form, so no mare. We somehow didn't feel welcome. A little more conversation on arrival, did you have a good journey etc., but unless - I show you your room, you have to fill out the breakfast form and put it back downstairs. When do you want breakfast - it wasn't there. The day before we left we were asked for the first time if we were going on a tour today. Normally you talk to the guests about whether they like it and whether everything is OK. But there was nothing here. We ourselves had a much larger tourism company and for our employees as well as for us, friendliness was always very important.We would have really liked to try a schnapps, but unfortunately nothing was advertised.Conclusion: the region is very beautiful, but we would look for other accommodation next time.

Thank you for the great stay! The Fischerweber is a very nice, cozy family hotel. We felt very comfortable. When the weather was nice you could have breakfast with a fantastic view of Lake Tegernsee. The breakfast was prepared with a lot of love and served directly at the table due to the Corona situation. We can highly recommend this hotel and would come again and again.
