We stayed at Schnitzers for 10 nights at the end of August / beginning of September. We really liked it here, from the arrival, to the service, the great and very friendly staff, the delicious food and the good rooms.Our Labrador was welcome everywhere and was able to let off steam in the run.We'll definitely be back!

Schnitzer's Home! Noun is omen. We had four wonderful days, and yes, you can really feel “at home”. The hotel is modernly furnished and has always friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet is very rich and in the evening, the four-course menu could come from a star restaurant. Simply fantastic.Of course, what was important to us was “how is our dog doing?” It has to be said that dogs are not only “allowed” in this hotel, but everything here is really geared towards guests with dogs. If our dog could rate it, he would definitely give it “five paws”.

Good eveningWe would like to report about our stay at Schnitzers Dahoam:Our arrival was on a beautiful Monday evening. There was a good parking space for us right in front of the hotel. If there is nothing available, there are parking spaces available behind and around the house. When we checked in we received a very friendly welcome and everything went very smoothly. The room was super spacious for 2 people and a dog, very sophisticated and furnished in a modern/classic, rustic way.There is a small refrigerator under the desk in the room, which is great for drinks or something similar.(There is a large refrigerator on the first floor for dog food)The room also has a small walk-in closet with an integrated safe.For dog owners, dog blankets, a dog bed, a bowl and a welcome treat are provided in the room.The bathroom is very modern and stylishly furnished to a great standard. Fresh towels and room cleaning every day are a given here. Dog owners know what it's all about. The laundry service is also super practical if something needs to be washed unscheduled.Overall 100 out of 100 points.We were also very enthusiastic about the food. At breakfast there is a selection of sausages from the butcher and cheese, which are freshly sliced ​​for the guest. Which I personally find very sustainable and good. A great selection of baked goods and homemade jams etc. are standard here.At lunchtime there is a snack and homemade cakes, which we can only recommend with a great selection.Dinner is perfectly coordinated and usually consists of 3 courses.Special requests are no problem and will be fulfilled 100%.The food is of incredibly good quality and tastes excellent.The 6-course gala menu, which lasts about 2 hours, is an absolute highlight and real star cuisine ⭐️ The courses are perfectly coordinated.#CraftRocktHowever, if you don't have time on vacation, you can get a 6-course menu in under 10 minutes at the Gasthaus zur goldenen Schwalbe around the corner.The service, whether at the reception or during the meal, is excellent and very accommodating. The junior manager was also there for her guests at all times despite her pregnancy and fulfilled all their wishes.It should be mentioned that the dog is also allowed to eat. That made it super relaxing for us and allowed us to stay at the table longer and enjoy the ambience.The entire hotel complex is very well maintained.The dog meadow is separately fenced and large enough. A beautiful meadow borders the terrace.Short paths and 2-3 beer gardens are in the immediate vicinity.We say thank you and look forward to next time. We met many nice people who have been guests in this house at least 2-3 times. This probably speaks for itself.It's great that there is a hotel where dogs are so enthusiastically welcomed and, above all, welcome.What I cannot confirm are the unqualified recent comments in Google. It should be clear to everyone that you don't go to a thermal spa world. A fitness studio etc. is not advertised either, which is why criticizing this is outrageous.The guest room has a modern, inviting design and is a wonderful place to linger. What we found much worse was the nice, uncomplicated gentlemen at the next table who only criticized loudly, but when asked by the staff only found words of praise.But it is absolutely the bottom drawer to talk about the senior partner here...I can't understand what one has to do with the other?

We arrived on a Saturday and were able to move into room 204 at 2 p.m. The rooms are beautifully modernly furnished. However, it was too winding and narrow for us. There was no shelf whatsoever except a shelf under the TV which was completely occupied by hotel items. With a dog who usually cleans the hallway area, I can't recommend the room. However, I would like to highlight the beautiful, large balcony with a beautiful view.Unfortunately the WiFi was bad, the bed wasn't comfortable for us, the pillows were too hard and it seemed very small to us (160?). But everyone feels something like that differently.No fridge in the room.Bathroom beautifully modern. Although very small but sufficient. However, there was no way to stop the water in the sink to wash or soak something. Very important for dog owners.The service varied between mediocre and very good. Depending on which service person was on duty. The tablecloths that were spilled the night before were still there for breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty and always sufficient. However, you still need to practice when preparing the egg dishes. During our week, almost all of the guests had wobbly, almost raw eggs. My highlight was the fresh honeycomb.The snacks at lunchtime were small but sufficient. Cake was always my highlight. Always freshly made by the landlady. Incredibly delicious.The dinner was of star level. Greetings to the boys in the kitchen. What was conjured up here every evening was world class. The gala evening's food was very tasty, but at over 3.5 hours it was simply too long.It was my wife's birthday and our table was beautifully decorated. Thank you very much for that, she was very happy. I ordered a birthday CAKE for 26 euros. I was a bit surprised here. The cherry coconut sponge cake was very tasty but still far from a cake. The cake decoration seemed like something was added quickly. Picture attached. The size of about 16cm was perfect for 2 people but with us you can get a 26cm Black Forest cake for 26 euros. Therefore the price is unfortunately not justified.I would like to highlight the dog meadow. Nice large fenced area for dogs. Very practical. I was somewhat misled by the name dog shower. But that was more of a laugh. Calling a garden hose a dog shower actually made me laugh. But by no means negative.The walk to the lake promenade was less than 5 minutes. The location is great.All in all, if you look past some things, we had a lovely holiday with you.

We had great days at Schnitzers dahoim. The welcome was friendly and warm. Nothing was missing. Special requests were fulfilled immediately, what more could you want. Chef's, staff, service and food are excellent. We'll be back.

We felt like “Dahoam”. Everything was very clean, the room was great with a dog basket and bowls, breakfast and dinner were great. Service and staff were all very, very friendly. Hotel location also great - just a few minutes walk from the lake promenade. We will definitely be back.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked this hotel at short notice because we were traveling with two dogs and wanted to extend our vacation. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the waterfront. The rooms are nice, clean and modernly furnished. The four-legged friends also got a nice place with a little attention. The balcony was spacious and invited you to linger. Unfortunately, the beds had noticeable hollows, but you could still sleep well in them. The staff was 50:50. Some were super friendly and attentive, while others clearly didn't enjoy their work. The breakfast buffet was small but nice. Much emphasis was placed on regional products and little waste. But a little variety wouldn't have hurt here either. As some have mentioned before, after looking through the website we would have expected a little more from the evening menus, as they were not a highlight for us. So we didn't really find the price-performance ratio appropriate. A big plus, however, is that it is dog-friendly. You are welcome anywhere in the hotel, including in the restaurant. There is an extra dog meadow, own baskets and bowls.In conclusion, it can be said that this hotel is well suited for dog owners, but the price-performance ratio should perhaps be reconsidered.

Perfect holiday with the dog at Tegernsee. The hotel, which has been run for generations, leaves nothing to be desired. The outstanding cuisine with selected regional products is completely convincing. The coffee beans come from a nearby roastery and guarantee an enjoyable start to the day. At the end of the day, after a 4 to 6 course meal, the battery in box spring beds is recharged. Everything is new and beautiful.Very in love with detail, it presents with sophistication the experiences gained in this hotel over decades. The owners always seem to be present and enjoy working with the service and maintaining contact with their guests. The fact that your four-legged friend feels comfortable is also very important here.

I stayed in this hotel for eighteen days as a vegetarian and finally took a cure at my own expense. From booking to departure, I felt very comfortable🤗The family and employees are exceptionally friendly, accommodating and you feel like there are people who are professionals at work here.The breakfast offering, with high-quality products, many different types of organic tea, a coffee machine where you can get a coffee at any time, the breakfast eggs that are freshly prepared every day, and on Sundays there was even sparkling wine that you could help yourself to at the buffet, the whole thing Presentation, the small meal in the afternoon and then the incomparable menu or buffet in the evening, where I was well looked after even as a vegetarian, contributed to the fact that I had a very good time in the "Hamburg" room, as well as perfect WiFi access.When I had red cabbage on my plate at the Bavarian buffet on Sunday and had a question about vegetarian dishes, the chef immediately pointed out to me that my red cabbage was not vegetarian.That was really exemplary and I am very grateful for this tip.The area, Munich, Schliersee, all the cities around Tegernsee are beautiful, hiking, cycling, boat trips, everything is possible and I did everything. I had a very fulfilling time😍 In addition, the hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the lake.
