It was very nice there on the beach with a nice view, the food was good and the staff were also very friendly

I hardly ever write a review but this time the other guests have to find out about it too...Unfortunately, we only have to give one star...The employees get this star...Everything else is unfortunately very disappointing....!EAT; We had to PAY the full board in FULL despite multiple REQUESTS and explanations (and not even taking part in the meal) - very disappointing - with the remark...we don't care whether we eat sweet or not...it's already paid for - (crass and cheeky words that I wouldn't normally write in a review, but this blew up the ramen!)BUFFET/drinking very disappointing - no labeling...carelessly displayedThe brown bread was so hard that it could almost pass for crispbreadNo choice of food at all!CLEANLINESS; UNFORTUNATELY NO STAR! Shower was totally messed up and there was a huge water damage stain over 1/3 of the room....One bed linen was broken with a hole and the other was dirty...not so nice - a hole can happen but it doesn't mean it's that dirty...NO LOUNGE ROOM - NO CHAIRS ARMCHAIR WHERE YOU COULD SIT DOWN IN THE EVENING AND READ A BOOKReception; the man always seemed very annoyed 😒 and bored - very strange!The management tried to be friendly and even smiled from time to time...but rarelyThen another UNDING IN THIS house....The main entrance door was not able to be repaired within the last 4 days and for this reason the door was left open at night and so anyone could go in! We don't think that's possible at all and it's an impossibility!The only one who deserves this star would be the Ukrainian and generally the cleaning staff and the kitchen helper UTA - SUPER VERY EFFORTLESS AND FRIENDLY TOTALLY LOVELY AND FUNNY ... THE YOUTH RESTAURANT NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE THAT.ALL IN ONE ... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE YOUTH RESTAURANT - unless it is an overnight stay for 1-2 nights and you tend to eat out ... the money for breakfast is also not justified and what is on offer is totally overpriced ... ..

Unfortunately, the pictures do not correspond to reality. We were on a trip with 30 people in autumn 2021 and all the rooms were very, very dirty, the bed sheets were dirty and some had blood stains or mold. There was sand and hair everywhere in the beds. In our room there was still stubble in the sink and there was sand and grains of dust everywhere. Some loft beds didn't even have a ladder.When we complained, the staff wasn't even surprised about the condition of the rooms.The food was also sometimes borderline. The dishes were often dirty, we found hair in the food and there was always not enough food, so we often couldn't help ourselves.In addition, the shared showers were completely dirty when we arrived and were cleaned based on our complaint.There were also far too few sockets in the rooms.Conclusion: The youth hostel is in a very nice environment, but the rooms were in oneThe food was in a catastrophic condition and tasted ok, but the quantity and hygiene were poor.Not recommendable!

Our 6th room was very small, my fat friend took up 70% of the room, no ventilation whatsoeverUnderpants simply flew away, dead crabs were everywhere and smelled really bad. The staff was extremely dubious, especially the cook. The highlight was the Edeka (couldn't shower in peace without being bothered) we saw things there that we will never forget

The rooms (depending on which one) were mostly okay. The evening meal could have had more variations, or generally included more everyday foods such as more pasta or more meat, which you also eat in everyday life. The worst thing in my opinion were the group showers. Personally, I think it's disgusting to shower with other people and I think it's a shame that you don't have any other option these days (a lockable cabin would be enough).The location of the inn is positive, you are right on the beach and a supermarket is not far either.The staff is quite nice and accommodating, as are the prices of the snack machines, which are very generous compared to other inns.

No bathroom in the room

The rooms were actually good, but when my friend put his underwear on the window sill, his underwear flew all over the place. My friend took a (dead) crab into the room, but when we went downstairs, the pit turned into a biogas power plant and filled the whole room 🤢Plus, she was in the bushes afterwards. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the youth hostel...The staff could be friendlier but it was ok.The food tastes likeThe highlight was the Edeka and I drank a 2l iced tea

The rooms were like a prison. Our room for 6 was 1.5m². You couldn't choose the food and had to eat cheap junk (salad) every day. Mam was bound to certain times and wasn't allowed to do anything after 10 p.m. The football field was full of underpants and there were dead grabbers on the floor. This practice is NOT recommended!!!!!🚫(The highlight was an Edeka).
