We stayed at the Kulturhotel Kaiser by Trip Inn in Schriesheim for one night because we were invited to a wedding around the corner. When we checked in everything was great, friendly staff and we were given room 219. When we arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. the electricity didn't work in the entire room. No lighting, no sockets. The reception was no longer staffed. Nobody could help with the problem. We had to change clothes in the dark, go to the toilet, shower, brush our teeth, etc. The cell phone didn't even charge. The next day we reported the incident to reception. Ms. Ackermann from reception just shrugged her shoulders and said she was sorry but there was nothing else she could do. There was neither an accommodation regarding the price (we paid 160 euros for one night) nor an offer for breakfast or anything like that. I think it's a disgrace considering that electricity and hot water are the basic needs in a hotel room. 160 euros is simply far too much for that.

We celebrated our wedding at Gutshof Ladenburg last week and basically booked the entire hotel for ourselves and our guests from Friday to Sunday. On Friday evening we had an unofficial get-together with around 40 people with the immediate family and all guests who had to travel further afield in the hotel's beautiful courtyard with tarte flambée and wine. The staff on site was super accommodating, tarte flambée was distributed throughout the evening and ice cream could also be spontaneously ordered for dessert. The team and especially the reception around Ms. Ackermann were very warm and all of our wishes could be implemented. The inner courtyard is a dream and was perfect for a relaxing evening! The rooms are also beautiful and very individual.

Modern room, 1 star deducted because of the cleanliness. Despite asking, the bathroom wasn't really cleaned - lots of dust on the shelves, sticky stains... Breakfast was okay and the lady who prepared it was very nice.

We booked ourselves into the hotel for 2 nights. We arrived early evening and checked in. When we asked about the possibility of eating at the hotel, we were told that the restaurant was closed because the chef had been on vacation for weeks. It said it was open online. When we arrived in the hotel room, we discovered that the curtains in the sleeping area had holes in them. An old, washed out and matted carpet lay on one of the armchairs. The curtain in the bathroom also hung more because it wasn't threaded into the rail. The toilet in the bathroom was not cleaned. The shower head in the shower is so calcified that the water sprayed everywhere except on the body. When I was putting my clothes away, I dropped a dark piece of clothing and when I picked it up it was full of dust and long white hair that didn't belong to us. When we reported the defects to reception, we were informed that this would be passed on and taken care of. Except for the change of curtains, nothing had changed in the room. It was very disappointing. On breakfast morning, on Sunday, we had a lady who kept asking us in a very rude way, “Are you ready yet?” Very dreadful. What ultimately motivated us to write a review and what finally broke the camel's back was the price. We paid €161.00 (!!) for each night directly through the hotel so that we then had to clean ourselves. When booking etc. the hotel was more expensive than booking directly at the hotel. A proud price. But it gets even better. There were friends of ours staying in the hotel. They also paid €100.00 directly through the hotel for an identical double room on the same weekend. We are stunned and incredibly disappointed.

Very unfriendly receptionist with short hair if you ask for a room she often brushes you off.either homophobia or too much AFD shift to the right in Schriesheim.HoweverPreviously, under Nowak, the hotel was even nicer and more hospitable. But Nowak was overwhelmed with the hotel and then Tripp inn took overThe food was always good. The rooms are also good and the showers too.Lgbtqa friendly only depends on the reception staff to a limited extent, I think
