German fraternity creates an unpleasant atmosphere.The two of us came to the hotel to relax. Unfortunately, the meeting of the German fraternity was also taking place in the hotel at that time. They had arrived the day before their meeting and presented themselves in their German outfits in the lobby, at the bar and in the restaurant. They ran back and forth with their black, red and gold outfits, creating a frightening atmosphere for me and my companion. We spent the evening in the room as the men in their uniforms stood at the bar and made us feel uncomfortable.We would have liked to have known about this meeting beforehand, then we wouldn't have booked it.The hotel responded to my complaint email with incomprehension and explained to me that the fraternity is democratically oriented.Sorry, but I just complained about the behavior of this group and this seemed appropriate to the hotel management.Unfortunately not for us, because we are democrats and will never be guests in this hotel again.

We were at the Fair Resort Jena a week ago. The reception was very friendly and accommodating. You could see that the room was newly renovated. What I missed was a closet, there were only shelves in the room. The problem in the bathroom was that the tiles were very slippery when it was damp and you could only enter the shower with slippers. The food, breakfast buffet, lunch buffet with various dishes (meat, fish, vegetables, salad, side dishes), cake in the afternoon and another buffet in the evening. The food was by far the best we have eaten in a hotel. You could also ask for a portion of fries if you were slightly hungry, which was fulfilled.The service in the dining area was also very friendly. What we noticed was that it was very dusty in various places (cobwebs on the side parts of the rows of benches and under the buffet cabinets)What we didn't like was the spa area. We knew that the indoor pool was not open due to construction work. The sauna opened at 10 a.m. but there were only two saunas in operation at that time. The next two saunas arrived at 12 p.m. and the last two at 2 p.m. The outdoor pool should be 30 degrees when it was 25 degrees. it is a lot. Furthermore, I have never experienced anyone being able to openly use their cell phones in a sauna area. I only know it with a cell phone ban. In addition, there were many people in the sauna area in bathing suits and one was then confused as to who was wrong here. People who were wearing swimming trunks under their bathrobe were instructed to take them off. But the people at the pool wore your swimwear and didn't take them off even when you were told to. Access to the spa area was also not barrier-free. If you used the bathrobe corridor you had to accept steep steps and also climb the stairs on the other side. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Alternatively, you could walk through the hotel lobby and through the parking lot. It was also a steep stretch.

Unfortunately, the indoor pool is currently being renovated and there is no bar in the sauna area. You are not allowed into the restaurant with a bathrobe, so you would have to change every time you wanted to get a coffee or cake. Unfortunately, the applications were canceled at short notice due to illness.

Hotel looks neat. Service is variable and location is next to the highway. So a lot of noise. Breakfast is good, lunch is downright bad, dinner is reasonable. Wellness bad. Children run around shouting at parents in swimming trunks and bikinis, but nothing is said. However, if you have 1 toe over your towel, something will be said about it. Besides the fact that you have a room with food for 200 euros per day, you also have to pay 5 euros per day for your car. I don't care about the money, but this smells like fraud. I would give the reception staff drama training so that it seems as if they are interested in you as a guest. What a bunch of rude people these are. So they don't see me anymore.

Very nice sports and wellness hotel. Rooms all newly renovated. Food and drink leave nothing to be desired. The new wellness area is great despite construction work that will be finished in December. We have been here several times and the next stay is already planned.

We were in the hotel from August 16th to 18th, 2024 and had booked the suite with the sauna. The first impression: Wow - what a great suite, with the aforementioned sauna, large bathroom and a balcony. That's where the first problem began.... At 30°C and full sun (from morning to night) there should be parasols available (stands and holders were on site), unfortunately there were none. Unfortunately, our suite was only cleaned superficially, pillows that belonged on the couch were still hidden in a storage space under the television, the fruit plate was certainly from the previous one (signs of use/snacking), there was still a flow of dust everywhere...the mini fridge was dirty, as well also the glasses and the small coffee machine. The fridge was supposed to be there (1 bottle of sparkling wine + 2x water) but was empty.Cleanliness seems to be a big problem, even in the restaurant. We would like to say the following about the topic of "all inclusive": If you like the "Ballermann feeling" - you've come to the right place, beer is free until 9 p.m. It's probably just a few guests who used this intensively, but that really has a negative impact on the overall picture because of their behavior after too much beer. Food is provided around the clock and there should be something for everyone, there was also a star for the kitchen. Some of the service employees made an “irritated” impression, and this was reflected in the comments to the guest. We can't rate the wellness area, the Indorpool was renovated, we had a sauna in the room and we went to the pool next to the restaurant once, but because of the alcohol consumption of some guests we weren't drawn there anymore. A solution would also have to be found for the following situation: Guests come through the restaurant and winter garden every day and evening with their bathing suits - sometimes more, sometimes less - through the restaurant and winter garden (not very aesthetic), especially since celebrations also take place in the winter garden (birthday parties, we wanted to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary there too)...We reported all of this to the hotel management (on site also to the service department), unfortunately no reaction or statement. Of course everything is documented. At such a price - €760 for 2 nights - we expect something different.

We were here for four days to relax. The room was absolutely top. Everything is well maintained and quiet. All meals were very tasty and prepared with love. A total of six saunas. All completely new and clean. What I didn't like was that cell phones were used in the textile-free area. The plunge pool really well laid out and the outdoor pool well heated. Here too, bathing was cloth-free and cell phones were used. There were also people present who were fully dressed. A bit irritating!

We were there for an all inclusive weekend and are super happy with everything.Positive: Food is varied and there is something for everyone; Top cleanliness both in the room and in the rest of the hotel; friendly staff; good service, great wellness area; free tram card to go into the city; you can see that the hotel puts a lot of money into the furnishings and equipment; beautiful outdoor area with heated poolsIf you book the hotel and see where it is located, you should expect that the motorway is not noiseless, which is why I find it unfair in other reviews that stars are deducted for the noise. You can hear a noise from the highway, yes. But it's definitely not TOO loud.We will definitely come back when the indoor pool is finished and are already looking forward to our next visit!

There are people in the service who are not friendly or polite, just like the chambermaids are certainly not hospitable!! Room was nice and clean and the beds slept wonderfully! The Sauna is clean and beautifully set up, compliments! Had delicious infusions... the food was terrible, almost nothing was really fresh! You could taste that it was all ready-made yuck! What you wouldn't expect from a 4 star hotel! They really need to do something about that! Better less choice and freshly made than this rubbish! Breakfast was reasonable, but brie and fish early in the morning, why? Cheese was rubber and meats had no taste! Very unfortunate and that is really a big negative point. When checking out, we were not asked at all how our stay had been, only that a bill still had to be paid for parking! They really should pay more attention to all guests, missed opportunity!

The hotel is overall quite nice and is right on the highway.Unfortunately, traffic is clearly audible when the window is open, whereas when the window is closed it is quiet.The single beds are relatively narrow and the mattresses slip easily.The newly designed wellness area is very successful, but the relaxation loungers are often not enough because guests reserve them with towels.The sauna master does an excellent job!You should book a wellness massage early - or think about it.The one massage room is on the first floor, right near the elevator and access to the wellness area. As a result, you can constantly hear conversations from people walking past. The other massage room is even less conveniently located, directly in the stairwell to the wellness area. Here you not only hear conversations, but also the clattering of the door every time the door to the wellness area is opened. Even loud relaxing music doesn't help much...The massages themselves were okay, but nothing special.The food in the hotel is tasty, varied and sufficient.Unfortunately, there is a strong echo in the dining room, forcing you to speak louder to be heard. Some partitions could help reduce noise levels.A big advantage is that you can use public transport for free with the room cards and the next stop is only 5 to 10 minutes away on foot.There was a long queue at checkout because the two employees had to share a card reader.
