Our stay: 3 nights with 4 people, girls' vacation, 2x double rooms. The guesthouse is located in an apartment building on the 1st floor, it couldn't be more central. The rooms are tastefully furnished, spacious and even have a balcony facing the inner courtyard. The service is perfect, coffee, tea, cookies are free, and a cold drinks machine is available for a fee. Parking spaces are available free of charge nearby or can be booked in advance for a fee. We had breakfast every day at Cielo next door, a reservation is recommended. The Cielo was perfect and had a great breakfast selection. We were completely satisfied, would book again at any time and would be happy to recommend it to others.A little note to the Mariposa... the topper in room 4 likes to go hiking at night;-) unfortunately it doesn't stick well and it slips, but that would be complaining on a high level.Thank you for the wonderful time in Weimar and in your guesthouse Mariposa

We were guests at the guesthouse for the onion market. We cannot understand the criticism that the city center was closed and the parking lot was a bit away.We were happy that we were able to get a parking space at all.Our room was very nice, the glass door took some getting used to but it was fully mirrored. The room was super clean and there couldn't be a better location. The check in was super easy and the owner was very friendlyWe'd love to come back

We spent three nights at Pension Mariposa. The location was excellent, but we would choose another accommodation if we stayed in Weimar again. On the weekend we arrived, the entire city center was closed, which is why we were forced to park on a mountain and drag our luggage about 1 km over cobblestones to the guesthouse. It would have been desirable if we had been informed about the closure of the city center in the text message from the owners that we received a few hours earlier, as the city center was obviously already closed the day before. Apart from that, our room turned out to be an architectural masterpiece. There was no closet in the room, but instead there was a kind of frame that you had to address as "you" otherwise the drawers would have fallen out. Another highlight was the television, which, despite being movably mounted on the wall, was hidden by the bedposts or the somewhat pointless bed frame. But the best is saved for last: the bathroom, which had a glass door that provided an incredible amount of privacy with a small frosted glass-like strip in the middle and was transparent at the top and bottom, and a shower that had neither door nor curtain after use The bathroom was so flooded with water as if there had been a cloudburst. However, it must also be noted that the location was, as I said, great, the WiFi was very fast and the room was clean overall.

Beautiful guesthouse, in the middle of Weimar. Most of the sights are within walking distance. Beautiful park nearby. Restaurants for breakfast and dinner can be reached between 1 - 5 minutes. The room was clean and the operator asked you if you wanted service (we didn't need it for two nights). Everything happens online: keys, payment, contact. The guesthouse has several floors and does not have an elevator. Mattress super firm, but the pillows don't work at all.

The hotel is really wonderful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and I felt very well looked after there. I'm looking forward to coming back - the service is simply first class.

Very nice, tastefully furnished and spacious room with a large bathroom.Price-performance ratio is also perfectly fine.Unfortunately there is no elevator and no reception, but communication via SMS/app worked perfectly. You can book parking spaces at the property, but they are about a 7-minute walk away.
