Nice people, nice place, just...good

Cheap, familiar, quiet. We always enjoy coming back to this wonderful place. Sanitary facilities are clean, prices are reasonable and socially very pleasant. There is no kiosk on site, but everything that is still missing is 100m away. “Pizza auf Scheid” has everything else. We would love to come back here on our next (bicycle) vacation!

Hello at the beginning if you want to go camping quietly you have to look for something else. Staff super unfriendly, anyone who crosses the owner's path immediately gets a scolding and is immediately told to leave. My family owns a caravan here and I come here occasionally. Of course, I'm not a long-term camper here and have to pay individually each time. The way we knew it was that we come here and end up going to the owner on the day of departure and paying. But yesterday she saw me and said I had to pay in advance. In one case the owner was even so bold as to give us a surcharge of €5-10. In the end I paid €20 for 2 people and 2 nights even though I had to pay half.Another point is the dog rule, my family has a dog and is not allowed to take it with me, which is why it stays with the neighbors. The owner always runs around the campsite with two dogs. You have to pay for warm water, i.e. in order to be able to take a warm shower you always have to have coins in your pocket - this also applies to washing up.Not recommended!!!

Unfortunately a bit unsuitable for tents. You camp surrounded by playground equipment. The giant trampoline is in continuous operation from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Unfortunately, recovery looks different. Sanitary facilities are very clean.

This may come as a surprise to some guests as showers are usually included in campsite fees. It is advisable to have enough coins on hand to pay for shower time.In addition, there is a charge for hot water when washing up. This may cause inconvenience as guests may require additional coins to obtain warm water for washing up. It is important to take this into account when planning your camping trip to avoid unexpected costs.The campsite itself is getting old. This means that some facilities may no longer be up to date and are in need of some renovation. It may be that the sanitary facilities or other infrastructure do not meet modern standards. For some guests this can be the charm of the campsite, but for others it could be a negative point.Another drawback is the lack of a water connection at the pitch. This means guests may have to walk further to get water or find other ways to meet their water needs. This can be impractical, especially when camping with RVs or tents that rely on a regular supply of water.The campsite is priced accordingly. The cheap fees likely reflect the shortcomings and limitations mentioned above. While the poor Wi-Fi, paid showers and the lack of a water connection at the pitch can be inconveniences, the friendly owner and the corresponding prices somewhat compensate for these shortcomings.If you are looking for a reasonably priced clean campsite and can live with the restrictions mentioned, this campsite is an option.
