Very nicely located on a peninsula on the Edersee. The service was very friendly. Despite good occupancy, it was checked whether there would be a place for us to stay overnight. But the place demonstrated the best service after our stay. I had left the tank cap of our fresh water tank at the filling station. After I inquired over the phone, the clasp was found and sent to me within a few days. Perfect. Thank you.

We can tell everyone who is looking for a parking space (whether with a motorhome, caravan or tent) at Edersee that they are in the best hands at this place. We have been coming here for three years and will definitely continue to come here for the next few years. A great pair of operators leave no stone unturned to keep everyone happy. Supply/disposal and clean sanitary facilities at all times as well as great excursions and hiking destinations leave nothing to be desired. Thank you very much for the wonderful time with you. The operator is very friendly. The place is one of the few on the Edersee with evening sun. The space and sanitary facilities are consistently new and very clean. A cute little passenger ferry takes you to the other bank and the start to the most beautiful hike (Knorreichensteig) on the Edersee begins nearby. Five out of five points for us.

We were looking for a parking space (without reservation) on a Friday. What's more, we opened during the lunch break. But Heike welcomed us in a very friendly manner in advance. She took care of us. It didn't take long before the boss came and showed us a place. We stood there really well and for the first time between long-term campers. We really liked that and they also welcomed us very well. Sure, the sanitary facilities could be modernized, but for us it was much better that they were always extremely clean. In the evening there was grilled meat on the terrace. There were also long-term campers there (Hans and co🤣) who really included us. It was a really fun and relaxed evening. Thank you for this too. All in all we were grateful and totally satisfied. We'll definitely come back! Very nice and helpful operators. That's exactly how we imagine camping🤗 See you again soon

We received a super friendly welcome and were immediately given a top spot with a communal seating area.After the long journey, the children were able to let off steam in the very clean, new playground.If we were missing something, the owners were there immediately with everything.At night we were able to sleep peacefully and safely.Sanitary facilities were very clean, there was even a hairdryer, dryer and iron.We didn't miss anything and we will come back at any time.We were thrilled, thank you!!!

The two of us stayed on the site with a tent for one night. The service is friendly, unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open that evening and we couldn't test it.The location was okay (no special view but completely sufficient for our purposes). The place gives the impression that it is family friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean and have the usual campsite charm. The price was completely fine.

Great campsite with very helpful operators. The new groundskeeper is an angel. We come regularly and will continue to do so. Top location. Directly at the summer toboggan run. Good dayThe approximately 20,000 square meter, very well-maintained Seemannsheim campsite is located in the Kellerwald Edersee Nature Park.The journey itself slows down with the view over the Edersee to Waldeck Castle and a large beech forest in the Kellerwald.In a wonderfully quiet location of the campsite you will be warmly welcomed by a couple who run this place with a lot of love, passion and extreme politeness.We felt very taken care of and would love to come back!The campsite itself is equipped with shower facilities, sanitary rooms, a playground for children, a large pitch for motorhomes with trailers (13m), tent pitches for short-term campers, pitches for long-term campers - the high number of which speaks for itself for the quality and satisfaction of this place.Around this beautiful campsite there are a variety of attractions that can be reached on foot (approx. 6 km). For hikers: the dam, Asel bridge, corn maze.For children: the toboggan run and leisure facility in Niederwerbe.Culinary: Pizza 🍕 and restaurant by the lake. Everything can be reached in just a few minutes.For the sake of order, I would like to mention that dogs 🐕 are also allowed here, although we don't own one, but for dog lovers this is an important aspect of finding a place.Conclusion: we are thrilled and will definitely come back.

After we were able to spontaneously get the last parking space for a long weekend, we were very impressed by the friendliness of the groundskeeper couple. The sanitary facilities are very clean and in good condition. Long-time guests and long-term campers resulted in many beautiful moments that gave us the charm of the place.Kind regards to Edeltraud, Alfred and Norbert

It was nice at this small, rustic campsite. There are a lot of long-term campers, they were all in a good mood and friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean and if you want peace and quiet, don't necessarily need luxury and like hiking and cycling, everything is right. The operators put passion and empathy into their business. Just shopping was difficult.

It doesn't work at all. The owner will put the next campers on your site, even though the meadow is almost free. What that has to do with nice is a mystery to me. I understand every word.The place is very run down. Lots of long-term campers, it's unbelievable how people want to live like that voluntarily. We've been camping for 10 years, but I've never experienced anything like this.Price performance doesn't match either. If I had known all this, I wouldn't have stayed 2 nights, but unfortunately we had already paid.
