Since we were told that the star function 1,2,3,4 was switched off😉😉😉, I give the remaining 5 stars.Fun...You deserve the 5 stars!!!The location with garden is great.The food of the Oberhammer.The drinks were very tasty.The service was nice, friendly and quick and responded to requests.Thanks to the boss and the entire team!!!

My wife and I were guests at the Koseler Hof this evening. Contrary to the assumption that "fine dining" always feels a bit "buttoned up", we were warmly welcomed by the relaxed and charismatic boss and taken to our table. The ambience is pleasantly simple and rustic and does not distract from the focus: the food. And this is created here with artistic ambition. My two starters (if you can't decide...), one of pickled trout and one of pasture-raised beef tartare with white truffle, tasted excellent. The greeting from the kitchen, malt bread with foamed butter, was a small, sophisticated foretaste and made it clear what is important in the inn: attention to detail and high-quality, sometimes unusual ingredients.The main course, in my case shrimp with scallop on lobster foam and cauliflower, was again surprising with blood orange pieces, which you wouldn't have expected at first, but gave the whole thing an interesting fruity note.The dessert, a kind of semolina-based creme brulee, was simply delicious with the Baileys ice cream served.Overall, you can really say that we not only had a very good meal today, but also really had a lot of fun during our visit there.Rating: Highly recommended!

We were already guests at the Koseler Hof in 2023 and were thrilled even then!The restaurant makes a clean, casual and cozy impression and, when it comes to furnishings, has a good combination of classic inn and modernity. As was the case last year, we were greeted directly at the entrance and shown to our table. I chose the crab soup again as a starter. I have to say that this is the best crab soup I have had so far. I've been to various "maritime-themed" restaurants in Tönning, Husum and elsewhere, but nothing comes close to the intense North Sea crab taste that I love so much. Many restaurants use so-called pastes in cube format for their crab soup, which is then mixed with fish stock or a mixture of fish stock and shellfish stock. Luckily, this kind of thing doesn't get into the soup at Koseler Hof. Unlike last year, this time there was fresh asparagus in the crab soup. It tasted very good, but I would also offer the guest the choice of North Sea crabs as an ingredient for an additional charge. Sure, the price of North Sea crabs is exploding right now, but when you go out to eat so well... For the main course I chose sous-vide-cooked flank steak with a wonderful veal jus and vegetables. The flank steak with the jus was a real treat. Flank steak is often tough, but here it was no longer pink due to the long time in the sous vide bath, but still tender as butter. For dessert there was a cheese platter with homemade fruit bread. The cheese was well tempered and the fruit bread tasted great.For the first course, my partner chose caramelized white asparagus with Schnüsch – a creamy vegetable ragout with carrots and fermented peas, which was a wonderful combination. This was followed by medium fried beef fillet on carrot cream, with green asparagus and veal jus - a dream! The sweet conclusion was a strawberry and elderflower slice with a brilliant ice cream.All in all, it was a perfect evening, which was topped off by a super friendly chat with host and chef Mario Laabs. I can only recommend everyone to visit the Koseler Hof once. This corner of Schleswig-Holstein in particular is always worth a trip and after a nice walk along the Schlei you can end the evening in this great restaurant.Great praise also goes to the service. Always attentive, very polite and above all the young lady knew about the menu and how the food was prepared. That doesn't happen often and you could tell that she was really excited about her job!We'll come around again in the fall, then there'll be game. We're looking forward to it.

Very creative cuisine with super delicious food!

It's a bit out of the way and you can't immediately tell from the outside whether it's open. Since there is no map posted and the weeds are sprouting a bit. We took a tentative look and were completely impressed. Simple furnishings that look elegant thanks to subtle gray accents. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The food was a dream.

WOW! What a great restaurant with a highly motivated young team! We immediately felt warmly welcomed and were wonderfully accompanied throughout the evening. Even the greeting from the kitchen made us curious... A fantastic menu with a variety of flavors and a new interpretation of well-known ones! Great wine selection! Mario Laabs simply cooks very confidently. Tasteful compositions, no disturbing or irritating contrasts - everything here is designed for harmonious combinations. Very accessible, aromatic clear cuisine. Creativity complements a predominantly classic selection of dishes, which are characterized by perfect craftsmanship! Anyone who just wants to go out for a really good and tasty meal will be very happy here. At least our taste was perfectly met. Thanks Mario

The culinary highlight on the Schlei: The Koseler Hof offers first-class haute cuisine at its finest.Chef Mario Laabs conjures up exquisite delicacies with a hand that deserves multiple awards and leaves nothing to be desired. we had the big harbor tour - the 6-course tasting menu. Prepared with dedication, beautifully presented and perfectly served by an extremely attentive team.Conclusion: If you want to eat really well and enjoy it sustainably, you have to go there!

We ate with our children (12 and 21 years old) on our vacation at the Koseler Hof and chose the 6-course menu on site. And what can I say? We were incredibly surprised every time we went. Great regional cuisine paired with absolute taste explosions. Mario Laabs is an excellent host who knows how to convey an absolute feel-good atmosphere to his guests at all times. Down to earth, always with a kind word on his lips. Service is not only very important here but is also lived. We can only recommend everyone to treat themselves to culinary delights here.

Discovered this gem a few years ago! It is cooked, presented and served with great attention to detail. We don't know the hotel but we enjoy coming to the restaurant; the dishes combine regional home cooking with fine cuisine. Portions are relatively small, so you can easily try your way through the menu without bursting. The chocolates are my personal highlight!
