Reception not occupied, key on the window sill. I would have been happy about communication regarding this. No drink/water in the room as the restaurant is closed. Drinks vending machine would be an option. Room very shabby, cupboard not lockable, towels frayed, water from the last/penultimate guest still in the kettle and pretty calcified. But the used tissues in bed didn't work for me at all. Had to leave in advance, it was handled very nicely, but 2 stars.Breakfast with a list to tick off, unusual but ok. Location was really nice. All in all, far too expensive.

We cannot recommend this hotel. We had booked a standard room and were only given a very small and sparsely furnished “shack”. Everything was very old, everywhere was worn and dirty, there were lots of dust threads and damage to the furniture. The cozy seating area consisted of a simple wooden chair, a cozy evening in the room was not possible. It wasn't possible to use a lounge in the hotel because there wasn't one available. The restaurant wasn't an alternative either, it was usually closed.According to the owner, getting another room was only possible for an additional fee.Even after asking, a guest card was not handed out, but the tourist tax was charged.Overall, the hotel also made a unkempt impression (inside and outside). The 3 star hotel classification advertised online is not given under any circumstances. According to the owner this isClassification also not available or applied for.The hotel can really only score points due to its location near the royal castles.

This hotel cannot be described as the guest's house. Clutter and dirt determine the first impression upon arrival. Tiny rooms, no lounge and a dining room that closes at 9 p.m. complete the picture. There isn't even a drinks machine. Under the heading of sustainability, breakfast must be ordered in writing, i.e. no buffet. Whatever is ordered must also be eaten, otherwise it has to be paid extra. Taking breakfast items with you is prohibited. Never again in this accommodation.

the pillows are terrible (i did not get a single night of good sleep here), if you get a room on the 1st floor you only get half a window covered by the roof & the wifi is weak / constantly disconnects. The location is great, but regardless I wish I had booked / slept elsewhere. Then my back wouldn’t be hurting.

If you want to confuse lack of service and dirtyness with "sustainability", then you've come to the right place.Beds not made, bathroom not cleaned, carpet not vacuumed - so that's "sustainable" - aha!Once and not again - even the host's extended friendliness doesn't help!

Very bad experience with the hotelier who had not recorded our group reservation under the pretext that he never reconfirmed the reservation: 2 confirmation emails from us and a transfer of 60% deposit more than 2 …

Not recommended.I booked a 6-day stay with a hotel voucher. Based on information from negative reviews, I tried in vain to upgrade via email months in advance. My fears were fulfilled upon arrival (see picture). There was no sign of a proper reception. An oversized loose-leaf collection behind the counter greeted the guest. My emails probably ended up in this jumble. The allocation of our quarters fulfilled the fears of a smoking room as a better broom closet with approx. 12 square meters. In addition to confirming the smell of nicotine and removing spiders from the room, the unfriendly host's activity was finished. After only 16 hours of forced stay, we left the so-called country hotel.Never again.
