The Sonneneck house shines in a modernized splendor under new management. The new owners have given the traditional guest house a fresh, contemporary look. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owner.The holiday apartments are tastefully renovated and offer a fantastic view of Neuschwanstein Castle, which makes your stay a special experience. The combination of friendly service, modern comfort and the fantastic location makes Haus Sonneneck an ideal accommodation for every visitor to Schwangau. Absolutely recommended!

We have been enjoying coming here for years. We have always really liked Haus Sonnendeck and its atmosphere and we have always felt very comfortable with the Blänker family and were excited to see what awaited us under the new management.We were pleasantly surprised and can only say positive things. We were warmly welcomed and requests were no problem. We are already looking forward to our next holiday for Christmas.The funny truck driver and his wife.

Okay for the 2 days we were there. Room not clean. There were 2 used plates there - they were still there on the 2nd day! Hair on the floor in the bathroom. And terribly kitschy decorations everywhere. Dried flowers, bouquets etc.Breakfast was okay - but nothing more. Friendliness is a foreign word there...The location is priceless. Close to the town and the thermal baths, but in a quiet location. Conclusion: It was okay but we wouldn't stay there again!!!

The location was great, walking distance to the thermal baths and a good route to the Tegelbergbahn and the Schösser.Apartment was ok for the weekend, breakfast was good, always fresh rolls, even on Sunday, fresh from the bakery.

Location: 👍Room: old-fashioned, a lot of kitschy decorations on the walls and dried flowers/fabric flower arrangements (dust catchers) everywhere, countless cobwebs.Breakfast: okay, no fresh fruit.Cleanliness: The apartment hasn't been mopped properly for a long time. Going barefoot is not recommended.Friendliness: huge need to catch up!It was tolerable for 3 nights to visit the thermal baths, but for the first and last time.

The only plus points were the beautiful view of the mountains, the very short walk to the Kristall Therme and the comfortable beds. The house is furnished a bit old-fashioned, decorated with dusty plastic flower arrangements and has mold in places, some of the tiles were splintered. The WiFi was catastrophic, the heating was cold, you had to turn it up first and then of course it took a while until it warmed up. On the second day, the heating was turned down to cold again while we were away. And that at minus outside temperatures. Certain TV channels were so disrupted that you couldn't watch the show. There was still food in the fridge from the previous guests and the dishes were not clean. There was little choice at breakfast, no fresh fruit, not even muesli.

We rented the holiday apartment. She is very beautiful and cozy. You have a view of the mountains. The landlady is very friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back

The view is good, as is the food.However, the condition of the house and the rooms can be described as a shambles. The bathrooms are ancient, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, lots of cobwebs, a hole in the curtain, and the carpet is completely stained.Overall, everything is worn out and in need of renovation. Overall, the rooms are not worth their asking price. Therefore absolutely not recommended.
