Very delicious food, we were blown away! You have to plan for a little waiting time and it's best to reserve in advance - but it's worth it. Class

We have just been rudely kicked out of the restaurant by 2 older ladies because we were in the restaurant 45 minutes before our reservation at 5:30 p.m. The objection that we only wanted to drink a beer before dinner was also not accepted. I respect old people a lot, but these two older ladies weren't walking at all. If you don't want to have guests at this time, you should lock the door. The restaurant itself is very old-fashioned and carelessly furnished, which fits the behavior of the two ladies very well.We then went to the restaurant opposite and had a good meal there. By the way, this was my first review. I think that says it all.I gave 1 star because I didn't know if 0 stars would even work.

Unfortunately I can't share the good reviews. The four of us came in. The place was empty except for three or four older people sitting at a table, smoking and drinking beer. When we asked if we could sit at a table in the back left corner, we were approached by an older woman, presumably the landlady, who would sit there. This wasn't obvious to us because there was no regulars' table sign or anything similar on it. When we asked which table we could sit at, we were again told off in a rather unfriendly manner. All tables would be needed. But it was also not clear that the tables had perhaps already been reserved for the evening business. After so much unfriendly incompetence, we said goodbye and found another nice restaurant where the tone was much more polite. They deserve it from us.“Zum Ochsen” in Rothenburg ob de Tauber never again.Unfortunately, one star has to be given, otherwise the recession won't be posted. Therefore one star, realistically I wouldn't have given this place a star.

A restaurant just like we want it to be. Service top, food and drink very good, very good products - price - performance fits. Lively, uncomplicated - good atmosphere and well located. Sanitary facilities brand new, very clean. We have booked rooms there for next year. Important - also has its own parking spaces.
