I was a guest at the Hotel Klinger for one night on business. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, very quiet location next to a riding stable. The hotel is not a modern, chic hotel, but it doesn't want to be and it doesn't have to be. I definitely recommend it, very quiet environment. Also a recommendation for business travelers. Breakfast was set up early and had enough choice.If I were to be in the area again, I would book the hotel again. Definitely a recommendation.

A very quiet hotel located on a hill above Plettenberg with an extremely warm and friendly boss.The bright and friendly non-smoking rooms have their own bathroom and are functionally equipped. There are connecting rooms for families. Unfortunately there is no elevator or elevator.The day starts with a very tasty and varied breakfast, plus coffee and tea. You can find juices at the breakfast buffet as well as muesli, milk, honey, various types of cold cuts and cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, jams, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit, etc. Thanks to the warmth of the boss, many special requests can be fulfilled.At the house you will find a spacious terrace with seating, a very relaxing place on warm summer evenings.Directly adjacent there is a riding stable with a riding school, a dream for families with children. Since I don't know whether they work together, just ask the riding school in advance.When you look out the window you can see horses, goats and maybe even wild boars. If you want to go out to eat in the evening, you should own a vehicle or be comfortable on foot, the hotel is located on the edge of the forest, a long way from the town center.If you are planning a work trip with a cell phone and laptop wearing a tailored suit and patent leather shoes, there are certainly houses that are better suited for this purpose.However, if you are looking for peace and relaxation and can enjoy nature (with all its sounds and smells), this hotel is the perfect place for you.Again any time.

We spontaneously stayed in the hotel for two days with our children. Super friendly operator and the rooms are not very modern, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and there is something to discover everywhere. For our children, the adjacent riding stables and the many animals on site were an absolute highlight. We will definitely come back again in the summer

Nice hotel if you want it to be quiet. Adjacent to this is an enclosure with alpacas and goats and a forest area. You can also plan trekking tours with the alpacas. (I was staying there for work purposes, so I didn't notice it) Rooms are perhaps not the most modern, but not outdated either, otherwise you can't complain, rooms are adequately equipped. The owner is also super friendly. Among other things, there was a kitchen on the ground floor where you could cool drinks or even make yourself something warm to eat. Next supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. All in all, we can only recommend it if you are planning a stay near there.

The location was very easy to find and the parking lot right in front of the building.The breakfast is really exceptional for the size of the hotel and OUTSTANDING.In any case, the best thing for me was the room(s)! The whole building is in such good condition and CLEAN, MODERN as I didn't expect being in the country side. The fact is, however, that the management of the hotel has found the perfect mix between modern and the house architecture. Less is more and just the right mix of furnishings and decorations and as a point of a welcome on the bed plus bottled water!In all the hotels of the last few years I haven't seen such a high standard and attention to detail!Also had a business meeting today and hope that the big company will also send guests or staff to the hotel on our recommendation!---The location was very easy to find and the parking was right in front of the building.The breakfast is really exceptional and OUTSTANDING for the size of the hotel.In any case, the best thing for me was the room(s)!
