I got it as a gift from my girlfriend for her 50th birthday on November 2nd last year. We spent the weekend there shortly afterwards, everything was great, whether it was the room or the pool and sauna area. Staff was very friendly. Beautiful hotel in an idyllic location. The catastrophic service, whether at the reception or in the restaurant where the food is quickly sold out at the buffet, leaves a bitter aftertaste. If a group of 25 people arrives, a hotel should be better prepared. Not recommended!

Located outside the Stagt Neheim, on the edge of the Luerwald, in a beautiful forest location.Perfect for going on hikes.Top fitness studio and a small swimming pool round off the sports hotel.Food is above average and reasonably priced.

We really like the location, behind the hotel you can walk directly into the forest. Reception very friendly. Rooms clean and OK. Bathtub could not be used for bathing because the plug was leaking; However, the next day (unfortunately our departure day) a technician came straight away, so there is nothing to criticize. We regretted that there was no kettle (tea making facilities, hot water bottle). Sauna was great, as was the pool, not too crowded either. The breakfast offered a large selection, top raisin rolls, moderate multigrain rolls.Conclusion: We would come back for a weekend.

2nd time in the same hotel. 2019 and 2023. Not much has changed. Thank God there is still room service here. Breakfast in the room is really wonderful. Everything else too, of course. But with 4 stars it also has its price. Fully satisfied. A bit remote but still well attended. We'd love to come back. Thanks.

The Dorint Hotel Arnsberg is very beautiful in the forest and is located on the outskirts of the city. The area is very suitable for hiking or if you need some peace and quiet. The hotel is characterized by very friendly staff, clean rooms and good food as well as good sports, spa and wellness area.

Great rooms, great location, great spa area and unfortunately a restaurant that is not convincing.The entire house is incredibly clean. Then it can also be excused if the rooms were unfortunately only available after a 40-minute wait.The superior rooms are very spacious, well furnished with good beds and a good bathroom.Great spa area, very large, with saunas and swimming pools. Very nice outdoor area and huge fitness area that is excellently equipped.Unfortunately, going to the restaurant in the evening didn't suit the house at all. Large and also very clean. Due to the size of the room, it is very reminiscent of a dining room in a rehabilitation clinic (except for the winter garden, which is constantly fully booked). Unfortunately also the food and the service. Quality of the buffet is "okay" with fried chicken breast and Hok fillet. The sauces appeared simply mixed. The vegetarian noodles fit into any youth hostel. The salad counter was unimaginative with ready-made sauces and the dessert had three components. Unfortunately, there was so little of the two meat dishes that they, like the only two side dishes, were constantly out of stock and were only refilled after a long wait and repeated reminders.And all at an incredible price for the buffet of over 33 euros per person. This is unbelievable. Nothing was right here... neither the quality, nor the service and certainly not the price.Instead, massively dissatisfied guests and the certainty "once and never again..."

We booked a wellness weekend for 4 women for their 70th birthdays.The reception was friendly, the rooms were functional and clean. We had 1 room for 4 people. We had a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was big enough and comfortable for 2 people. The spa area can be used free of charge 2 hours before check-in and 2 hours after check-out.The hotel is in the middle of the forest and it is nice and quiet. If you want, you can go hiking or cycling here. The pedestrian zone is only a few minutes away by car. A very nice, busy pedestrian zone with numerous shops. Everything your shopping heart desires.The breakfast is to die for. Nothing is missing.All in all a really nice and affordable hotel. Just switch off and relax.

Had a great, relaxing weekend at the Dorint Hotel. Very quiet, well-equipped rooms with a balcony including a view of the forest. Nice service at reception and in the spa area, everything was well explained and handled. You felt completely comfortable here. The hotel is located in the middle of the green, with several routes inviting you to go for a walk. There is a mini golf course in the immediate vicinity. Everything around is green.Great varied breakfast, everything was refilled immediately, the waitresses were very nice. Very nice weekend, I am very satisfied with my stay 😀👍

The hotel is a little old. The bathtub for showering is more for flexible guests. On the second day there was a burst water pipe and therefore no water at times. I stayed at the hotel as part of a seminar...but otherwise I wouldn't consider staying there. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the spa area because I didn't use it.

I am at a loss for words. I have never experienced such a bad 4 star hotel.I was there (accidentally) in the morning and wanted to use the swimming pool/sauna. From 12 p.m. it would be free. At 10:30 a.m. it costs €9 for the swimming pool (square, careless with damp loungers) and another €6 for 1 sauna. Please take your own towels with you. The hotel is subsidized with €3 per towel.The receptionist forgot to tell me that there was a locker key in the fitness area. The sayings/reprimand from the coach...well.You can't book drinks in your room unless you deposit €50.How sad is that??The "standard" room is also indescribable. The hotel was built in the 70s. Welcome to the past. The carpet is definitely an original. Pretty dirty.The bathroom has a bathtub. This can be the first sporting challenge in the morning (risk of falling).Dinner: If you like it unseasoned, this is the place for you. I have never experienced such a neutral meal.Breakfast: was good.We definitely won't see each other again.Price-performance unjustified!!
