The single rooms are small but functional.It's an older building, but clean.What should be highlighted, however, is the service, whether it's the boss's wife or the waitress in the small pub, everyone is really nice and accommodating.

Very nice and clean rooms with a decent bathroom/toilet where you don't lack anything. WiFi, television, telephone, hairdryer in the bathroom, decent hand and bath towels, everything is there. 👍And above all, there are non-smoking rooms. 😀 No cold smoke, no nicotine deposits. A dream for us as non-smokers 👍A varied breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired completes the whole thing. 😋Very good and above all friendly service 😀and is easy to reach. Free parking at the house, tram stop is not far away and the gas station is on the other side of the street if you get thirsty late at nightIt was our first time here, but definitely not the last timeThe in-house restaurant deserves a special mention. Only fresh and high-quality ingredients are used there and the kitchen crew knows exactly what they are doing. It couldn't be better 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We've eaten there a few times and it's always been delicious. Schnitzel, sour meat, etc. are all recommended. The service there is very friendly and attentive. Great beer garden when the weather is nice!The only drawback is that as a non-smoker you will be completely filled with smoke from all the neighboring tables due to the proximity of the tables outside!!!

A small, pleasant hotel in a quiet area. Easy access, parking on site. Very good breakfasts. The rooms are clean, practically furnished. Bathroom OK - quite typical for small German hotels. It was a hot day, so there was no air conditioning, but there was a fan. The kitchen hood was humming outside the window at night, so the window had to be closed. A very nice hostess who speaks Polish. We will most likely go back there again on our next visit to Braunschweig.

A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but very nice and good from the inside. We were only there to eat. The food itself was excellent and the portion size was good. Price/performance is definitely right here. The staff is nice, attentive and friendly. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here either. We'd love to come back when we're in the area

One of the best restaurants I know! Quality is still important here and most of the products are manufactured in-house. All convenient products are dispensed with. The service is always excellent, friendly and the waiting time for fresh production is completely reasonable!

I was in the restaurant. The food was very tasty. We had the salad with schnitzel and matjes with fried potatoes and quark. The service was extremely friendly. Map clear, but nice selection.

The small, somewhat inconspicuous Jägerhof in Volkmarode turned out to be a little culinary insider tip in Braunschweig for me. The website already advertises that all ingredients including dumplings, sauces, etc. are prepared in-house.I chose a 1/2 grilled duck (boneless) with orange sauce, apple red cabbage and potato dumplings for €26.50 and was thrilled. The meat was extremely tender, the potato dumplings were something very special and showed how weak the ready-made dumplings are in comparison. Even the apple red cabbage was freshly prepared and couldn't be compared with commercially available canned red cabbage.The restaurant with its rustic furnishings with gray-brown natural wood appears to have been newly renovated and feels cozy. The service is friendly and attentive.It certainly wasn't the only time I ate at the Jägerhof.

Today we were in the Jägerhof restaurant for the first time in a very small group on the occasion of a birthday. A truly excellent kitchen that prepares all the dishes and ingredients themselves with great attention to detail. Quality and taste 1a at a solid price/performance ratio. That definitely wasn't the last time. Thanks to the nice, authentic team! 👍

Tip top. Stayed in this hotel during the Agritechnica in Hanover. Very good and needs-oriented service. Rooms very clean but the bathroom a little outdated.
