Safari Lodge - The overnight stay was expensive, but great, even though you don't live directly in the park, but you still had a view of the animals, which are only separated by the moat. Everything clean and sufficient. The buffet meal with drinks in the restaurant was included and excellent. You didn't have to wait in line to enter the park because you could use the bus lane.

Room for 4 people is far too small and only 3 beds and a “sofa bed” which is very uncomfortable. No plates and only 2 spoons!The park is beautifully landscaped and has lots of animals, but it is not recommended for overnight stays.

The lodges are quite nice, although ours was a bit inconveniently located because everyone had to climb on the metal elephants right next door in the morning and evening with exclamations of enthusiasm.Dear fellow guests, remember that you are not alone in the world and therefore show some consideration. Children and young people understand this too.Contrary to many reviews, breakfast and dinner weren't that bad and there was a good selection. Of course you can't expect a ***** menu.For children, there are several dishes every evening including fries, nuggets, etc. With ketchup and fries.You can then clearly see that healthy eating is a matter of education. How are children supposed to know that vegetables can taste good if you don't put them on their plate in the first place.From the lodges you can easily walk to the amusement park. Each area has an associated parking space, access via NFC card.The staff is very friendly and helpful in every area.

== This review only refers to the safari lodge and not to the Serengeti Park itself ==+ beautifully landscaped facility+ King Size Safari Lodge sufficiently large for 4 people+ large refrigerator+ Direct access to Serengeti Park (you can walk through the park even after the rides are closed+ Breakfast and dinner (buffet) were sufficient and of good quality- The lodge may have been clean, but we generally didn't feel comfortable there- Bathroom very narrow- slightly musty smell- Beds had more of a “camp bed” character and reminded me of youth hostels from earlier times- saggy mattress- very poor TV reception despite cable (only about 10 public channelsWe personally didn't feel particularly comfortable in the lodge and would no longer book it for the price of EUR 650 (2 nights, 2 adults, 1 child including entry and half board).

Very nicely decorated. Completely sufficient to stay overnight. The entire facility is beautifully designed. The centrally located restaurant where you have breakfast or dinner is well furnished and the food is GREAT!

Very nice lodges. Unfortunately some TV channels didn't work properly and one person had to sleep on a relatively uncomfortable couch, but all in all a good experience... The staff were very mixed, some very very nice and others very very rude

This year we as a family (2 adults + 2 children (7/10 years) chose the “Safai King Logde”.The huts are in the middle of the park. This means short distances in all directions. The equipment was nicely themed and everything worked and was fine.Normally you only stay in the accommodation to sleep. There is enough space for four people. With 6 people, the lounge area in the hut is already tight and so that everyone can sit, the chairs on the veranda have to be included. You can also borrow board games at reception for stormy days.The beds were very comfortable and warm. Speaking of warm. We booked in the cool spring and were still worried about whether this "wooden hut" would be warm. But yes... a total of four electric heaters had no trouble generating and maintaining an internal temperature of 20 degrees.Bathroom was also completely intact and clean. No complaints.The bottom line is that we were very satisfied and will book this accommodation category again.
