I can't understand some of the negative reviews. We were there with our 3 children and visited several parks. Yes, the youth hostel is old, the furniture is not the latest and the bathrooms also need renovation, but kudos to the housekeeping! The rooms were functional, but also ineffective in cleaning. For such a small youth hostel, the food was very varied and sufficient. Apart from that, we always enjoyed it.The staff was always friendly and were always available to give us help and advice. It can be seen that some renovations have been carried out. For example the dining room. This seems very inviting and friendly. The color play of the inventory is very well coordinated,so we enjoyed being in this atmosphere. You shouldn't expect the standard of a hotel in this small, old youth hostel. However, very hospitable staff.

The youth hostel is beautifully located because there is a good outdoor swimming pool nearby and a Rewe store that can be reached quickly. However, the city and all public transport are difficult to reach, which is why stars are deducted here. The food is very tasty and varied, but it is a shame that lunch is not more extensive than breakfast. However, the packed lunches that are provided are designed appropriately, because you can spread your own bread, then add a piece of fruit, a sweet snack and a drink, which I found very good. The rooms, however, are an imposition because they are far too small for the number of people that can accommodate there. I had the pleasure of living in one of these rooms with a total of eight people. The room looked terrible and just plain messy within an hour because we didn't have enough space to hang our backpacks and jackets anywhere. In addition, you couldn't even see the floor anymore because we had no way to put our suitcases anywhere else. However, if you come with a slightly smaller group, it is very pleasant there. A bonus point, however, was that you were given the room key and could always leave the room and lock it in the evening.

It looks more like a single-family home and is in disrepair.

It was run down, dirty and just disgusting. The heating didn't work properly. There are beetles running around in the showers and they are not cleaned hygienically. After all the bad, now something bold. The youth hostel wants to accuse us of minor fire damage. And we were there a long time ago. I know people who were there last month who received the same accusation.

The two stars are only for the location… the youth hostel is really shabby, it's raining in, the rooms aren't nice, the food was okay.

I was here on a school trip,The rooms were a bit "small" with 8 people and the toilet seat on the room toilet was very loose. The food was actually quite good, there were a few dishes that I didn't like but overall quite good. The staff were nice, can't complain. The employees grilled for us one evening, which I found very good and nice.Overall, I don't think you can complain about this hostel at all. Many thanks to the staff and chefs who looked after us.

The rooms are functional and clean. Unfortunately the beds were too hard for me. The staff is friendly, there is a playroom and a playground for children. There are parking spaces in front of the house. Nice location. Overall, highly recommended!

I was here with my children. The employees are very nice and friendly. Evening room is very clean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very tasty. There were different dishes every day. There are very interesting places in the area where you can take a walk. Heath parka, safari park etc.It is recommended.
