I occasionally take on the children's pony rides on the farm. Great farm, perfect for children, I would love to live there.

Great area. Family atmosphere. Even when it rains, you can have a children's program in the play barn. Excursions nearby are also possible

A great farm for children and adults with lots of play options. This is our second time here and we will definitely come back.

Very beautifully located, ideal for hikes in the surrounding forest area. There is a lot on offer locally and there are plenty of excursion destinations in the area.

So first of all, I don't understand a certain review that was added here a few days ago. This one review gives you a completely wrong picture.We traveled there as a family of 5 and our friends and spent 2 nights in the main house.We were immediately warmly welcomed by Mr. Lohmann. He took the time to calmly show us the farm and explained everything to us and the children. He immediately radiated this calm, which was what we needed at that moment. Peace and serenity, that was very clear here.Our children ran around outside all day, fed the animals, looked for eggs, rode ponies, petted calves, took apart the play barn, etc. The range of things available here is gigantic.Our children were also allowed to go on a tour with the big tractor; Mr. Lohmann invited them to do so.It was so beautiful there!!! We are totally in love.

We wanted to go on a farm holiday.That was the plan... On the website you could see pigs, goats, chickens, dwarf rabbits, children riding ponies, a tractor, a large, bright play barn. At the entrance it said “Holiday on the Farm”What did we get.....?First of all I would like to say that the whole area including the holiday apartment was very well maintained and clean.The care is taken over by an older lady who was really very nice and talkative.The title when entering the premises or appearing on the internet should be changed to "Holiday on a former farm"This farm is no longer active.Which I found very disappointing because the presentation on the website suggested otherwise.What kind of animals are there on the farm?2 goats4 chickensapprox. 15 dwarf rabbitsA dog and a few catsUnfortunately no moreThe ponies were in a huge paddock next to the farm. For a final payment you could ride with the ponies by making an appointment.The playground was quite unkempt, there was no locking bolt on the seesaw, which in my opinion poses a risk of accidents, especially for small children. The large trampoline was ok, we always cleaned it with a broom before using it, which is ok for an outdoor playground equipment.The dwarf rabbits' stable is not particularly clean. The goats and chickens are together in a walk-in enclosure.The play barn is very dark and most of the play equipment shows relatively large signs of wear. All of the existing bicycles were not usable.Unfortunately there was also rubbish in the play barn, which unfortunately wasn't picked up during our stay and the rubbish bins were already full when we arrived. In the apartment building there is a room with a table tennis table and a pool table, unfortunately the pool table could not be used because all the cues were broken. The ping pong blades were also in heavily used condition but were still usable to play with.There is virtually nothing in the area within walking distance, apart from the surrounding paddocks with horses and a cowshed. If you don't feel like driving, you should bring your own bike. There are a few things you can explore within a 20 KM radius.ConclusionBeautiful terrain which was well staged by the photographer.Clean holiday apartment.Unfortunately there is little farm feeling.If you want a farm feeling, you should look for another holiday destination.All games and leisure equipment available free of charge are in a poorly maintained condition.Risk of accidents in the children's playgroundThis recession arose based on my personal feelings and expectations.

I had a very nice vacation with my family

It is a true play paradise for children. We felt very comfortable with our grandchild. Very nice hosts who give the children great experiences. There are currently chickens, cats, ponies, goats and rabbits on the farm. There is a cowshed in the immediate vicinity and fresh cow's milk can be purchased on site. There are plenty of play equipment and children's vehicles on the farm. There are several holiday apartments with very idyllic terraces, although the furniture is not up to date.
