At the weekend we rode our bikes to Cleaning. There is always a lot of advertising for the great cakes on Facebook. The restaurant seemed very busy. We sat down on the terrace and other guests were already sitting there. After a while, the senior manager briefly looked out the door and told us that they couldn't serve us outside because of their colds. We explained that we were just coming to eat cake. He just said that wouldn't work either. We then drove to Hof Grauen and were served very friendly. Cleaning definitely won't see us again.

Before I start... it's better to give no star than one. We're on assembly. Drive 20 km to go out to eat. According to the “friendly service”, the fact is that we were late for the scavenger hunt and were pointed out in a very “friendly” way. We were not given a menu. The fact was that the scavenger hunt would have cost 19.50. Salad bar included. We were offered a leftover platter of schnitzel and we opted for a simple salad. However, this one cost 22.50 with a 0.33 beer afterwards at the checkout.Unfortunately, this salad was also prepared carelessly. I think they had leftovers from the salad bar. It's sad that something like that is possible these days, but eating a salad in such trusting restaurants is comparably bad and too expensive. Lg so far but we won't be coming back.Unfortunately, I can't estimate the room's rating. Hence 3 stars. Service unfortunately and location unfortunately 0

Yesterday we were at the Brammers Landhotel Essen because my grandpa wanted to celebrate his 80th birthday with the family.We reserved a table for 13 people in advance.When we arrived we were immediately assigned our table which was set for 13 people. Unfortunately, 4 people could not come for health reasons.When we had taken our seats, I kindly told the “boss” that we were complete - 9 people.She rolled her eyes for everyone to see and said annoyed and snippy: get everything back up, I'll have to put the tables completely differently.They briefly told the “senior boss” their problem and began aggressively pulling the tables apart and banging the chairs around.We as a family looked at each other wondering!We would have loved to leave without eating anything!I told the boss privately that her behavior was very inappropriate and that next time we could say it a little more politely!She apologized and was still visibly annoyed by the situation.In the end we actually had a table for 8 people even though we were 9 people, so little space and way too cramped for eatingFurthermore, the food wasn't exactly outstanding, rather poor!My children had fish fingers with fries - the fish fingers were not fried juicy but rather dry and burnt in some places.My farmer's breakfast was so thin, it was just dry!For almost all family members the food wasn't really good!Maybe the chef had a bad day, that can happen.Our conclusion to this evening: And I speak for everyone, unfortunately we will not be visiting the restaurant again.P.s.:I myself come from the catering industry with hotels and restaurants - you should never let the guest notice that you are annoyed or anything else, as the guest will quickly feel uncomfortable!

We had dinner there as a family (2 adults/one child) on August 15, 2024 and were very satisfied overall.The service was competent and extremely friendly, the food and drink selection was attractive and the price/performance ratio was absolutely fine.The three different types of pork schnitzel we ordered were super tasty, and the side dishes (fries, croquettes and fried potatoes) were also great.The atmosphere, both in the restaurant and outside, was rustic and cozy and the location of this country hotel is almost romantic.Absolute recommendation - we will definitely come back!!!

The more than tasty dishes were very delicious and beautifully presented. The fresh products were served quickly after ordering thanks to the great service. The family atmosphere invited people to stay longer and the children were also welcome guests. Both the terrace and the interior are designed to be friendly, cozy and inviting. We'd love to come back. Worth the culinary trip!(Unfortunately we cannot rate the rooms, but we have only heard positive things from other guests).

We can't rate the rooms, but we can rate the food and the service. Wow, what can we say. It was almost an experience. The owners live their job as hosts. In between, the boss quickly picked up 3 hikers in the car.The service was great. Small forgetfulness can easily be forgiven at this point.Food was great.The service was friendly and friendly.It was a great evening.Thank you very much 😊

Always nice there. Good cuisine, good selection of drinks (Soltau 108!). Very friendly and attentive service. The guest rooms are bright and friendly and so that several groups don't get in each other's way. Nice breakfast buffet.

A cozy hotel that is run warmly and professionally. The dinner and breakfast were very tasty and seasonal. The room was nice and clean. I'd love to come back, thank you very much for everything!
