I wasn't very impressed on my last visit. I was greeted very coldly and unfriendly. I would never choose the accommodation again. There are many accommodations in the area that are better and, above all, much friendlier and more lovable.No, unfortunately there is no confusion as assumed in the answer...

This is my second time here and I have to say I will definitely come here again, it is very quiet and the view of the mountains is fantastic. The hostess is personable, very friendly and helpful, she makes the best breakfast far and wide, the room is very clean and lovingly furnished, I feel very comfortable, you can relax there very well. It is really recommended. I'm already looking forward to coming back.

We spent a weekend at the Waldeck guesthouse and were very satisfied. Our room was stylishly furnished and the balcony had a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast is prepared with great attention to detail, you get a basket with rolls, a plate with sausage, cheese and spreads, and you can also help yourself to sweet dishes and juice. The hostess is nice, attentive and very helpful. Overall, the guest house is highly recommended. Thank you for everything :)

The Waldeck guesthouse has very tastefully furnished rooms with great attention to detail. The hostess is very friendly and we felt very comfortable during our stay.The breakfast was very tasty, extremely diverse and lovingly prepared. We will recommend the guest house with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

Originally booked for 2 nights everything seemed fine. However, on the day of arrival we had to contend with extreme traffic jams due to the flood, massive rainfall and accidents on the highways. So we wrote an email saying that we couldn't make it to the check-in and that we couldn't be there until between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. The email was sent at 1:30 p.m. on the day of arrival.The inn tried to call us during the day, but we didn't notice because we were distracted by the violent storm. We have to take that on our shoulders, but anyone who was traveling in Bavaria that day knows what kind of hell broke out on the streets!! There was also an email at 6:30 p.m., which only reached us much later at a rest stop with WiFi.There was a phone call with the owner at 7 p.m.And in short she simply canceled our booking! The reason: We didn't get back to us and so she "no longer had a good basis with us" and said casually that we can see where we stay. Absolutely no understanding of our situation and we even apologized MULTIPLE times! We also tried to explain our situation, but she didn't feel like she was listening at all. After driving across Germany ALL DAY in bad conditions, we suddenly had no accommodation for 3 days in the evening!Incidentally, in the email exchange it was only mentioned that the check-in was noted for 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and not that you had to expect a cancellation if you didn't make it by 6 p.m. And yes, we are aware that this is allowed, but we find it very violent and more than questionable how the owner behaved towards us in this situation!

Very friendly and helpful hostess. The entire house and the rooms are furnished with a lot of love and very tastefully! The breakfast is a feast for the eyes and leaves nothing to be desired. We can recommend the house with a clear conscience and should we be in the area again, we would book there again straight away.

I recommend it to those who want to spend a few days in a quiet and peaceful place and maybe go hiking in the area (Salzburg, Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, etc.). The pension is clean, friendly and quiet. The host looked after all our wishes, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Public transport is also excellent, we went to Salzburg by bus (number 180), the stop is a few meters from the guesthouse. There is a shop and gas station just a few meters from the guesthouse.

A wonderful house furnished with such attention to detail and incredibly well maintained. The reception was very warm, even though it was very late in the evening, and we immediately felt welcome. The breakfast was the icing on the cake - a huge selection in miniature and the “surprise egg” was fresh and excellent! Tip top, 100% recommendation and we will definitely come back! ☺️

After an initial misunderstanding, I was fortunate to have good conversations over breakfast and get to know the hostess as a very nice, sensitive and experienced woman. The room is tastefully decorated with attention to detail. The breakfast was very tasty. Each room had its own sausage and cheese platter decorated with appetizing fruit and vegetables. Muesli, yoghurt, juices etc. from the buffet. A delicious egg variation was also brought to the table

Very well maintained and lovingly furnished guest house. Rooms are also very clean and nicely decorated.Stunning views of the Untersberg and the Pfarrstuhl.What's particularly great is the extensive breakfast menu, which varies slightly every day. Bread, hearty platter, super great egg dish as well as muesli, yoghurt, jam, pastries,...The hostess puts her heart and soul into the matter and is very friendly and accommodating, takes time for a nice chat and gives tips for leisure activities. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A lovingly furnished and well-maintained accommodation that cleverly combines traditional building elements with modern designs, plus there is a wonderful view of Untersberg and Pfarrstuhl.The breakfast offering is particularly stunning, with a daily varied platter (sausage, cheese, fruit, vegetables, spreads,...), a creative egg dish that changes daily and a bar for sweets (cereals, yoghurt, jam, pastries,...).The hard-working hostess is very friendly and accommodating and is always available for a little chat or to give leisure tips.Highly recommended!

A really great woman to live with. Very kind and attentive. There is a more than loving breakfast. I can only recommend it, there is no other way. SALZBURG is easily accessible by bus. Bus stop almost in front of the door.
