The hotel was amazing. The views from the room couldn’t be beat. It’s a quiet neighborhood that is exactly what you would picture when thinking of staying by the Austrian Alps. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would say as a “watch out” is that the WiFi does not work. You’ll frequently lose signal and drop off. If you have a data plan you’ll be just fine.

I recommend this place because it is very clean, in a chill area, small village right at the border between Austria 🇦🇹 and Germany 🇩🇪.Spectaculos surroundings, great view 👌from the balcony.Close to an Italian restaurant and bus station.Breakfast is diverse. You can choose from a large variety of fruits, vegetables, yougurt, cereals, selection of cheese 🧀 and meats. There is a magical therasy, perfect for enjoying your ☕️.

Beautiful hotel with restaurant (closed on Wednesdays), beer garden with a large chestnut tree in the middle and a view of the mountains, large garden with deckchairs, including a free large parking space in front of the house. Outdoor pool in town, central starting point for excursions, for example. Salzburg, Salzburg Zoo can be reached without tolls in about 30 minutes. Also Berchdesgarten, Königssee just a few kilometers away, and also Bad Reichenhall. Tourist information in town, just 10 m away.

Great value for money, very clean and large rooms with a balcony and a very nice view.The rooms are very quiet, the parking lot is free, very good breakfast with plenty of choice and good quality, the scrambled eggs were really tasty, juicy and fluffy.Dogs are charged 15 euros per night, but in return they receive a bowl, blanket and mat, top service!What surprised us more than positively was that the hotel has 3 Tesla Destinationchargers and you can charge your e-car for free as an overnight guest. Absolutely top class!The staff is super friendly and very accommodating, they even reserved a charging station for our electric car with a barrier because we came back very late from Salzburg and were able to charge it for the drive home the next day.We can only give 5 stars as a rating here.

Super nice staff whether at reception, in the beer garden, in the bar or at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is still in great shape, even though it is getting old (the elevator was built in 1969). The rooms are big enough and, at least in ours, have a great bed because that is particularly important for me and my wife. There are small defects in the shower, the water temperature sometimes changes, which may be due to an event. missing or not functioning properly circulation line. The location of the hotel with a beautiful beer garden is in the middle of Großgmain, from there you can reach the next bus stop in just a few minutes and you can easily go to Bad Reichenhall for a city tour for €3.30 per adult

Very nice hotel. The views are spectacular, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is exactly what you need to start your day. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is located at about 50 meters from Germany and about 20 minutes from Salzburg (by car). If we will ever come to Salzburg again, we will stay here, in the heart of the Austrian mountains. A really "nice" hotel. Super well located, whether for hiking or cycling tours in the area or just for a stopover. Own parking space directly at the house. Very friendly staff, at breakfast (and we really maxed out breakfast times until ten to ten... thanks again for that) and in the evening in the inn. The food was good, and word apparently got around because the restaurant was relatively full.
