We didn't use the rooms, we only had dinner one evening and we were really happy.The food was very good, the prices were not excessive, the place is quiet and surrounded by nature. But above all we were struck by the friendly style of the managers and their kindness. The place is good if you love everything that is genuine and rustic!

Most beautiful hut in the Hinterzarten area. It's a shame that we were only able to visit the restaurant once due to the opening times. Great recommendation!

We called and asked if there was still a table available after we were assured that there was a table available and we said we would be there in 30 minutes. When we got there 20 minutes later there were no tables left. Apparently other people came. The staff wasn't interested in the fact that we went up specifically.It's a shame, the location looked very nice.

We were traveling on the Westweg and booked some time ago. When we arrived, a Pentecost festival was in full swing and lasted late into the night. No trace of relaxation and peaceful sleep! The least we could have done was to let us know when we made the request so that we could look for an alternative. We also didn't see anything about the lovely rooms on the homepage. It's a real shame that we will have bad memories of this idyllic place.

A very nice place to stay as a base to trekking all around, the food is amazing, the beers are supergood, great coffee, nice wine, and snaps is a must tray in the black Forrest, the owners Petra and Michael are very kind, the tables outdoor is great view of the hills, one walking to the towns of Titisee and Hinterzarten I spent 3 great months with them. You can travel in the black forest with the tourist card I did and travel to Basel, Freiburg, Titisee, Strasbourg, Breisach, Bad Säckingen, Donauschigen, Villingen-Schwenningen, Offenburg, Badén Badén, Karlsruhe, Breinau, Hinterzarten, Neustadt, Stein, I post the pics of those trips here

Super cute and rustic hut with nice people and cheap and delicious food! The surrounding area is not particularly "alpine", but you can get there easily by car, for example after a trip to the Thurner.
