Wonderful place to vacation. One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Friendly welcome, great room, delicious food, beautiful spa, lots of options (Pilates, water aerobics, transport to hiking spots, fitness room), very kind and attentive service, absolutely wonderful landscape and very good, quiet location, all put together, the perfect holiday destination . I'll be a regular customer here, you can't find better accommodation.

Lovely hotel our second visit here. Their staff are truly excellent. We had a wondetful week and very much plan to return in 2025. The food is superb as are the swimming pools and wellness areas. The free Konus cards give free travel on public transport.

We were guests in this wonderful wellness hotel as a couple.When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by friendly and courteous staff, invited for refreshments and taken to our room.The room was very nice, clean and we left nothing to be desired. In terms of space and equipment, everything was to our complete satisfaction.The wellness offer was wonderful, I would like to emphasize the cleanliness and modern facilities again. You simply feel comfortable and valued as a guest.We really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Particular attention was paid here to ensuring that there is an option to avoid allergies. In our case, gluten intolerance, there was even a toaster specially for this bread, which made me very happy because it showed that the guest's wishes were taken into account and it was not perceived as annoying.Finally, I would like to emphasize the friendliness, expertise and professionalism of the staff. We felt very comfortable and had the option of a wine recommendation for every meal. You don't have to be a wine drinker to still appreciate this option.Rarely have we felt so comfortable in a place that wasn't our home, thank you for the great time, we enjoyed it very much and will come back!

Overall, a very, very good impression!The small restriction in the service is based on a personal request, which I have described in the section Worth Noting.But everything else really fits! Welcome, rooms, friendliness of the staff, food and the wellness area - everything was really great!The hotel is in a very quiet location and you only hear one car from residents.

The Bergfried is a fantastic and wonderful hotel. Actually you should give 10 stars. The house is in a quiet and fantastic location, the rooms are of high quality and comfortably furnished. It's just a dream. The welcome is warm and the team is very attentive and always eager to fulfill all of the guests' wishes. The food is fabulous and exquisite...you could say almost star level, although that is my subjective opinion. The selection of wines and drinks leaves nothing to be desired. The SPA area leaves nothing to be desired, from sport, rest and relaxation, everything is there. You can tell everywhere that the whole team puts their heart and soul into it, always in a good mood and friendly. It is truly a team and not just staff. I am a repeat visitor and can only warmly recommend Erfurths Bergfried. You feel welcome as a guest and you can enjoy wonderful, relaxing days. To the notorious complainers, I can only say that I saw the same 4 star superior sign elsewhere, and you got terrible buffet food in a dining room similar to a train station... you had to pay a lot more and everything was just creepy, so that I left the house in the morning without breakfast. So thank you for being here, dear Erfurth family and team. The Black Forest is a great area, but when you stay in Erfurth's Bergfried, the Black Forest becomes absolutely irrelevant. Absolutely worthy of 10 stars.

It's a shame that you can only give 5 stars. 😉 This hotel is truly a treasure in the middle of the idyllic Black Forest. I spontaneously booked a room for two days at the end of a road trip to relax a bit from the stress of the journey. It was the best decision I could have made.From the very beginning you are treated with benevolent attention and a lot of charm. The passion shown by the family and staff is reflected in all aspects of the hotel. Here everything has a purpose, is in exactly the right place and is functional, so that as a guest you can simply relax and enjoy.The wellness area leaves nothing to be desired, so you can really relax throughout the day. And in the evening you will be treated to a cleverly put together, selectable 6-course menu. Here, too, you can see the passion and attention to detail that everyone involved puts into it.I couldn't have imagined a better way to end my trip and I will definitely come back again. Many thanks to all the staff and the owners for the great time at your hotel. 🙏

We stayed with the Erfurth family for the third time and will definitely come back!!A family-run oasis of well-being with a manageable number of exclusively furnished rooms/suites and thus a familiar and cozy atmosphere :-)The owners are present and active, the entire staff is super friendly and accommodating - from reception to the service staff and the wellness team to the housekeeping staff :-)The cuisine is excellent and makes the palate rejoice!!The wellness area has something to offer for everyone and you can relax and unwind in any weather ;-)WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT TIME !!Hess family
