Perfect location and catering for our wedding!All of our 75 guests found space in the newly renovated hall. In the next room we were able to accommodate a buffet, gift table and photo station. From the champagne reception to the dinner buffet and the midnight buffet... everything tasted delicious! The service was excellent: thanks to the Mayer family and team! Even in advance of the planning, everything went according to our wishes. And the price-performance ratio is also right.We are very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful day.

Cordon Bleu very tasty and nice and crispy with vinegar/oil potato salad. Price/performance great. Service very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately there is Tucher beer. Toilets clean.

We spent one night at Alten Fritz's during our multi-day bike tour and felt very comfortable there. The family atmosphere and the very good food were a highlight of our bike tour. We'll definitely come back when we're nearby.

We spent a week with our granddaughter in Haunritz with the Meyer family. It was just great. Nice room, good food, friendly hosts and a beautiful environment. We'll definitely be back!

Went there for dinner yesterday and was late. The kitchen had already “closed”. No, no problem.The very friendly! The waiter asked in the kitchen and we were offered cold dishes. The Swiss sausage salad we chose was absolutely amazing.Thank you for the service.Tip: The butcher shop that belongs to the old Fritz is also highly recommended

Hello,We were passing through yesterday and were looking for somewhere rustic and quiet to have dinner. This atmosphere is exactly what we love. Honest, very good and simple regional cuisine, lovingly prepared and super friendly service. In addition, unbeatable in price and surrounded by normal local people. Simply nice and hopefully the lovely guests will receive this by visiting often.Unfortunately, many German restaurants are disappearing here in the Westerwald, but they still have insider tips including good, real butchers and bakers who love their craft. Thank God!Nothing against our hard-working fellow citizens, but I can go to a kebab or Italian restaurant a maximum of once a year. I prefer to do that on vacation in Italy, of course only pizza. 😀So thank you again, stay as you are and all the best for the future.Your wedges

Haunritz is very tranquil. The Gasthof zum alten Fritz makes the place even more beautiful. Classic, beautiful restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff.

We have been guests at Alten Fritz several times now and it has always been great.Nice, very modern rooms and a great restaurant...breakfast was very good and the food was super tasty with a menu for large and small appetites. Very friendly innkeepers spanning three generations... the senior boss gave us home-baked cookies as a farewell gift.And, don't forget, be sure to take home a care package from your own butcher shop.The Alte Fritz is also a good start and end point for hiking and cycling tours in the surrounding area.

We ate there for the second time today. Very good, tasty food at a good price. In summer you can also sit outside very nicely. Nice staff. We would love to come back again when we are in Weigendorf.

I had booked 1 night and had to cancel the room a week in advance due to a massive and contagious illness. Nevertheless, the owner demanded the cancellation fee, as only cancellations 14 days before arrival would be accepted free of charge. (By the way, cancellation fees were not discussed before).If you as a guest are looking forward to friendly, fair interaction, you should carefully consider booking in this house.

We went to the restaurant for lunch and can only speak highly of it. The inn has a classic parlor in a traditional style and a newly renovated hall that beautifully combines modernity with the classic flair of a tavern.Absolute recommendation, we will definitely come back :)

The staff and the landlord were in a really good mood and very accommodating. Evening dinner after our hike was just great and we sat outside all evening with a few beers. We were particularly surprised by the modern rooms. The pictures don't lie. Breakfast was just as plentiful and a packed lunch was even put together for us on request for the tour. Everything is very reasonable in terms of price! We would really like to come back (:
