Beautiful hotel in an idyllic setting with a very friendly and accommodating management. Has an attached country butcher shop with a great meat loaf. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the restaurant because we were on vacation, but there are great inns around it. I felt very comfortable there and will definitely go there again. Ideal as a starting point for motorcycle tours in Franconian Switzerland.

I was there two nights. I can recommend the hotel 100%.There's really nothing to complain about. The room was large and very clean, breakfast is great, service unbeatable.I'd love to come back!!!

Went back to the Königsteine Hof after 3 years. We were already on vacation in 2020. We really liked it back then. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed this time. Our apartment had a kitchen and a refrigerator. That was very good. The in-house butcher shop bridged this problem. The breakfast was great. There was a lot on offer. In discussions, tips for excursions were given. Sauna could be used. I have already recommended the hotel to others. Thanks and keep it up.

Very friendly owners. Service is perfect. The food is very tasty, no matter what you eat (highly recommend the Milanese schnitzel with meat from the in-house butcher's shop), rooms are cozy and mostly renovated.

They do NOT deserve more, since the last time I came, they have not fixed anything, no air conditioning, no fan, no mosquito nets on the window, the result is that it is half past one in the morning and I am chasing mosquitoes, the last straw is because the morning when the water from the shower reaches my ankles....unfortunate, very regrettable, I have to remember not to book this hotel anymore...in fact, I forgot that in winter when I was here for the last time, The heating was off, but it didn't work, I had to half warm myself with the bathroom radiator...well, keep saving... Here's a photo...cool...a shower that doesn't drain... .cool

Staff is quite friendly except when you eat something in the evening. The older lady seems overwhelmed and unfriendly. Hotel is very outdated and soon not really clean. I won't stay here again

I was there at the weekend in Königsteiner Hof. I booked directly at the hotel by phone and then briefly by email.I was very pleasantly surprised by the fast service and great price-performance ratio. This impression should actually be confirmed live.When we arrived, the rooms were already ready and we received a very friendly welcome. What was particularly pleasant for me was the absolutely flexible breakfast time. Mr. Pirner told us that breakfast is possible from 8 a.m., but he also arrives earlier and if we would like to have breakfast earlier, we just want to say so and then it won't be an issue.That's what I want as a guest to be really flexible. Unfortunately, due to Corona and vacation, the kitchen was closed for the evening.The rooms are very clean, bright, friendly, spacious and modernly furnished and have everything a business traveler needs, including working internet.The next morning, breakfast really surprised me. Fresh rolls from the bakery, sausage from the butcher (very good quality and tastes very good), as well as jam, cheese, muesli, yoghurt, eggs etc. and then I had fresh scrambled eggs with bacon or whatever else I would have wanted can be prepared according to my wishes.Mr. Pirner clearly stood out with his very friendly and pleasant manner.I would like to thank you for your hospitality and would stay there again anytime I'm in the area.Best regards
