We stayed at the Bergspatz for 5 days, were very satisfied, the host was very friendly, accommodating and helpful.Breakfast options can be reached within a short time, as can a grocery store.We would live there again at any time.

Location relatively central and yet very quiet in an upscale residential area! The country house exudes the charm of the 70s. The room was quite okay... taste can be debated. Showering is only possible in the bathtub...what wasn't possible here was the moldy shower curtain! We knew that there was no breakfast, but a kettle with tea bags and/or instant coffee in the room or somewhere in the hotel wouldn't be a big expense, as would a shared fridge! The geraniums on the balcony were more reminiscent of dry arrangements...well, it was a hot summer! Quite okay for one or two nights...not necessarily longer!

Beautiful, quiet family hotel on the outskirts of Rottach. Very courteous employees. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a balcony with a great view of the Alps. Bathroom a bit old, but nothing to complain about here either, everything was very clean and comfortable. The prices were also very humane. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to take a short detour to Tegernsee.

The house is centrally located, Tegernsee can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot and the Wallberg can be reached with the Wallberg Bahn in 10 minutes by bike. The house is located in the rear residential area in a dead end, so no traffic noise can be heard. Unfortunately, air conditioning and a refrigerator were not available in my room.

Very nice little house for guests who love it rustic. Cozy rooms with a fantastic view of the mountains. It's not far on foot to the town center and the mountain railway. Good starting point for mountain bike tours with a super nice landlord with great tips. Always happy. Thank you very much!!!

Outdated hotel, rooms were ok (carpet, leaky windows, cleanliness ok apart from cobwebs) Showers in the bathtub with a curtain, quiet but fairly central location, price definitely too high as there is NO breakfast!!!

I had booked 2 nights. I arrived at 9 p.m. but had already given notice. The hotel was closed and only a note with the key was left on the windowsill. On the note was my room number and that I should fill out the form and hand it in by 8 a.m. tomorrow. 1. The elevator was broken. 2. Everything smelled. 3. The bathroom was dirty, clogged and moldy. The sound isolation was so bad that I could hear everything in the rooms around me. For this reason I left the hotel first thing in the morning and because of my seminar I had to leave before 8 a.m. and left the completed form with the key at the reception. On this form I also wrote that I had to leave and that I would transfer the money for the night spent in the hotel. At 9 a.m. the hotel staff called the seminar to say I was avoiding paying. I tried to clarify the issue calmly, but the hotel staff was very aggressive. Every other word he said was “I’m calling the police.” That's why I had to leave the seminar and return to the hotel to pay the money and sort everything out. He threatened me with the police and with his aggressive and loud manner and said I had to pay both nights.I have never seen such a bad hotel with such rude, unqualified, argumentative and condescending staff. They even make customers pay unfairly under threatening pressure. Incredible!I gave one star just because you can't give zero!

Due to Corona there was no breakfast and unfortunately nothing to drink either. Very nice location. But modernization would be good.
