Top location in Hamburg, right in the harbor with great surroundings. Everything can be reached on foot or by S-Bahn. Service very good, price performance top, staff always super friendly. The rooms are ok for the price, but there were a bit too many spiders in the shared bathroom on the 5th FLOOR, but everything else was clean.

Price/performance good. Breakfast was plentiful. Beautiful view. I'd love to come back. Great bus connection. Line 111 walk 20 meters in front of the house. Drinks prices in the house also for those on a small budget. Nice people.

Very good accommodation in HamburgPrice-performance ratio is right, especially for a big city. Rooms are a bit simpler, but perfectly adequate.

The sailors' mission is located directly at the harbor and the ships arriving practically pass the front door, so you have the option of getting a room at the front. …

We have been to Hamburg several times. We found out about the accommodation through the YouTube channel “Hamburg Hafen Live” and tried it out. The Altona Seaman's Mission is a church institution for seafarers that can also offer rooms for tourists. We really liked the location at the Holzhafen, the functionally furnished, clean room, the good breakfast and the sailors' club. If you arrive by car, you should be prepared for hefty parking fees. Compared to about 30€/24h… Maybe park a little outside and use public transport.Everything met our expectations: simple, clean accommodation in a great location, breakfast was also good, all the people were super nice. And the view from the room… great! Right on the turning circle, where the big ships turn! The location is just great. The 111 bus (Altona-Reeperbahn-Hafencity) runs in front of the house. The HADAG ferry pier is not far away. An unmoderated harbor tour with the Deutschlandticket is possible with line 62. Next door is the Haifischbar and the “Ina’s Bacht” pub Zum Schellfischpfosten. Conclusion: 1st choice for a visit to HamburgNote: The hotel is not barrier-free due to high stairs. There is an elevator that can be reached via a few steps.
