We were fortunate to stay with the Böhm family on this stage of our Franconian Trail hike. A simple accommodation with locals, lovely people. This is always more pleasant than staying at any hotel chain. There was also delicious food and a nice chat with the local vintage car club. We liked it!

Last week I stayed there for 3 nights for a training course in Nuremberg. Despite arriving well after the regular check-in time, we were warmly and politely welcomed. The inn and the adjoining guesthouse are very quiet and out of the way. Was pleasantly quiet. The rooms are a bit old but there was nothing missing. The bed was made fresh every morning so that in the evening after the training you just had to fall into it. However, the blanket was a bit too short for me at just under 2m and I would have liked a second pillow, but that's complaining at the highest level ;) We also had breakfast with us. Even if I don't like breakfast, I like to have a fresh egg, rolls and an orange juice. Even at the crack of dawn, the boss was friendly and up for a joke. The food in the inn is also very tasty and sufficiently portioned.

A wonderful hospitable place with attention to service and a very fast pace. The food is so delicious and tender that the bones voluntarily separate from the meat 🥰 all the dishes I tasted and saw were excellent

We stopped for lunch with a hiking group of 35 people - of course we had booked in advance.Staff very attentive and friendly, everything was set for us and nicely decorated. Food typically Franconian, very tasty and inexpensive. 35 people gave the inn a “highly recommended” rating and would be happy to come back at any time.

Good cuisine and very friendly staff. The guesthouse rooms are vintage but ideal for a look into the 60s. Everything was very clean, including the sanitary area, but the toilet bowl was in children's format (height and size) and almost no storage space for old, scratchy towels collected in different colors. Beds weigh about 5 kg like in grandma's time. At €90 for a double room, that's very steep.

For us a great Franconian inn. The innkeepers are friendly, people cook their own food here and don't make food out of the bag. Best dumplings in the area 👍🏻. Schäuferle is a must.

On the way through, we desperately looked for an inn to have lunch. It's a bit old, but the food was good and the price was right. Typical Franconian cuisine is also offered.We were really pleased that we were able to eat in the other part of the restaurant despite having quite a large company. That is rarely the case.You can also find parking spaces right in front of the front door and the toilets were clean and tidy 👍
