Nice atmosphere for meetings. The castle and the grounds are attractive and in good condition. The food, coffee, sweets, lunch and cake is sufficient and good. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Here you can organize a conference in a great atmosphere.

Fürstenried Castle is a small hunting lodge on the southwestern edge of Munich. Otto I, the so-called “Shadow King” and brother of King Ludwig II, was temporarily housed here until his death.

I always wanted to see the castle and its park from the inside. On the day of the open monument I finally had the opportunity to do so and was also given an expert tour. I found it very moving to hear the tragic story of King Otto, who was imprisoned here for almost 30 years. I also found out the solution to the mystery of why there is a decorative bench in front of the castle, but it does not face the castle but the highway: there is a historical line of sight to the Frauenkirche. Unfortunately, a few years ago new highway signs were installed that almost completely obscure the Frauenkirche. Unfortunately, efforts to change the location of the signs in favor of the visual path have unfortunately failed.

Not my first visit to the house but as always good, plentiful food with enough vegetarian options. Staff very friendly and easy to get along with.Shady parking spaces at the house but also good public accessibility. Additional coffee machine and drinks machine available. Rooms are small but not overly noisy and the beds are very comfortable. There are plenty of sofa corners for a chat or a good book from the small library, if the weather doesn't cooperate for a walk in the park.

Rooms simple, but clean and functional (just for retreats), very quiet in the house, great beds...no back pain like at home. Great park and next to it the large forest cemetery for a walk. Easy access. Staff very nice. Food is a dream. Speakers consistently good! Chapel my place of longing.Always my pleasure

We booked this place for a conference we were organizing and it was a round success. The place is simply beautiful and all our guests were really impressed by the place. The gardens, the rooms, the halls, everything makes you feel special.As part of the conference we offered food and this was off the charts good, so delicious and plentiful. If that is something you care about, do know you will be covered here.The conference rooms are very spacious and elegant, our guests were really happy. The only problem is that the summer in Munich was very hot and the room can get a bit too hot, but nothing you can't fix by opening the windows.The location could be a bit of an issue for some. It's far away from the city center (though well connected with public transportation), and since we had international guests, going there from the airport can take almost 2 hours. On the positive, the place is very quiet and it gives it a cool atmosphere. Plus, there's a nice restaurant with traditional Bavarian food in front of the place, so the guests can go and enjoy a rather lovely beer garden and excellent food as well.All things considered, I think that this is one of the best locations to host a conference. I would recommend it highly.

It's a shame that there is no way to give 0 points. Small, run-down rooms that don't seem the least bit inviting.Dinner for dinner with hardly any choice and what is offered is partly not edible.The location is also not ideal if you travel by public transport.
