We came to eat at the recommendation of friends. The menu offers meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. There were also some special meals (pumpkin specialties), which I thought was particularly great because it was a seasonal offer. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant. Seems bright and friendly. The price-performance ratio is okay, although the food is worth its price. But you also get good quality.

Very nice inn, clean rooms and very nice innkeepers. In the evening there is really good food for house guests at a reasonable price. Even in the event of a power outage, the boss masters the situation.Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

Breakfast was very poor, without eggs or scrambled eggs, only a few slices of sausage and cheese and was not delivered, coffee was only available after a long wait and only a little. But the worst thing was the totally unfriendly guests, constantly complaining, even attacking small children and charging a full breakfast for 3 year olds. They charged us far too much and only when we referred them to legal action did they correct the bill. Such a beautiful house and such lousy treatment. By the way: There is no lunch or dinner on Friday and Saturday.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. But you are not treated particularly friendly, it is quite expensive for what is provided (€140 a night for 2 people) and a lot of things are not communicated or only communicated upon request. For example, the checkout time on the website is 12 p.m., but if you ask on site you will be told it is 10 a.m. There are also constant complaints about other guests with whom you have nothing to do. The room is clean and simple, a bit old, but for €70/person/night I would have expected a lot more.The church bells of the two churches in town are extremely loud and wake you up at 7 in the morning. But the hotel can't do anything about that. Otherwise it is super centrally located in town.

Unfortunately very disappointing. We were in the old brewery with a wedding party. Many of us stayed in "the Krone" because of its proximity. Rooms were ok, normal hotel standard but a little too small for those with a stroller. There is no elevator, the rooms are all upstairs, lots of steep stairs. Strollers don't stand a chance without a baby carrier. Our room faced the street, cars drove through the room even in the dead of night. The bell tower opposite showed what it could do at 7 a.m. After only 4.5 hours of sleep, sleeping was over. Even with the windows closed it was really loud. Staff very unfriendly. The lady of the house who gossips about other guests (who were all part of our company) is a no-go. As a wedding couple, we did not receive a greeting or a “congratulations,” not even verbally. Instead, child-unfriendly comments and a very meager breakfast without eggs, which we were actually looking forward to. There was cereal, but there was no milk. Only after repeated requests. Coffee was extremely thin and with crumbs as if the coffee filter had opened. Our 2-year-old son was charged the full 14.50 for breakfast (half a bread roll). Over €183 for a small double room with breakfast really borders on usury. The owner of the house lectured some of our families and friends in a condescending manner and made nasty comments. So we were all definitely here for the last time. All of us will also leave negative reviews on all sorts of platforms. How they can hold on is really a mystery to us. We are ashamed to have recommended our family and friends there. At least it was the last time.

Everything was basically fine. However, I would have been happy if the room had had a certain basic warmth. All radiators at zero and a blanket that was far too thin... I fell asleep freezing.

A lovely inn and hotel.Clean and modern rooms with large single beds. Familiar couple with whom we always had a very nice chat.Highly recommended in this beautiful area.

Room was fine. However, for an impressive 104 euros per night for a single room, I would have expected a refrigerator in the room, for example. 14 euros are charged for breakfast, which is only open on Saturdays at the completely "un-Christian" time of 7:30-9:30. Also, no warm breakfast, just rolls, toppings and fruit.The negative highlight, however, is the owner of the hotel. Simply totally unfriendly, didactic and inappropriate.For me that was the last time.

Breakfast until 9:00! Ordered a nice room, we got a so-called suite. Room with anteroom 150 €! Food: tasty meat, lots of Spätzle 34 €! NEVER again

Friendly welcome, clean rooms, pleasant breakfast, I can't judge the food in the restaurant. Very suitable for an uncomplicated overnight stay, price and performance ratio is at the upper limit in my opinion. Will definitely come back. Thanks!

Here you are really still a guest!The operators take loving care of their guests with heart and passion. Unfortunately, this species has become very rare and I felt very comfortable in the Haus zur Krone as soon as I entered.The rooms are very clean and modern, in a great central location and have sufficient WiFi.The meal tonight was to die for!The selection is clear and classic and a pleasure for the palate - cheers to the chef from tonight (March 21, 2023).I can only recommend this hotel and will definitely come back as a guest.Thanks and regardsStephan Ehrlinger

That really wasn't good. As soon as we entered the spartan dining room, we were amazed. The fitters living in the hotel have to be fed in the evenings, as external guests only disturb them. The food, although quite expensive, was what it looked like, slapped on the cellar without any love and drowned in sauce. Heinz ketchup was served with the spaetzle if the fondor sauce wasn't to your liking.
