Nice hotel and rooms, great staff and kitchen. A bit remote, but still easy to reach the center on foot. It's incomprehensible that the spa area is only open until 8 p.m. It's also a shame that there are no freshly prepared egg dishes (omelets) offered for breakfast. It would have been nice for a hotel of this class. We would be happy to come back the next time we visit Potsdam.

It's beautifully situated by the lake. An indoor and an outdoor pool. Sights of Potsdam can be reached quickly by car. Restaurant in the building. The staff was very nice and helpful at all times.

Everything was very clean so far. We don't like the fact that the dogs sit/lie on the chairs. A dog doesn't belong sitting at the table. I have dogs myself and no one sits at the table, no matter how big. The next person might have fur hair on their clothes. Food very tasty 😋. It could have been a little more sauce. Staff very accommodating and nice.

Consistently positive, great service, friendly, corresponding to the 4 star category. But unfortunately no air-conditioned rooms and only a few with wooden or vinyl floors and a lake view! Changes are immediately noticeable in the higher price.

The hotel is very nicely located and the wellness and pool area fully met expectations.Some points of criticism have already been addressed in previous reviews, which I don't want to repeat in detail here. Unfortunately, it appears that no decisive remedy has been provided.Just this much: We had a room above the entrance area. As mentioned several times here, the night's rest was interrupted or broken off by heavy delivery traffic shortly after six in the morning.According to the staff, suppliers are required not to deliver the goods before seven o'clock.The dishes are very tasty, but I find the price/performance ratio for some dishes not quite balanced. Example: Currywurst (with a glass of champagne?) for a mere 20 euros, well. Hefeweizen: 6.90 euros. And if I choose a different side dish, this request will cost me three euros on top (that's what it says on the menu).And serving premium ice cream with canned spray cream is, in my opinion, a breach of style.

It is an interesting location when you plan to visit Potsdam. Unfortunately the quick connection ti city center of Potsdam via water taxi is not running anymore. So you need to be prepared to cycle or to take your car to get of this little island. The Interieur and set up of this hotel is a little bit out dated and serves its purpose.

A beautiful and very well-maintained hotel in Hermannswerder. Great quiet location! You can relax wonderfully here.Very nice and clean rooms!The staff was always very friendly and accommodating.We had booked with breakfast. Very large selection. Even for “late breakfast eaters” there was still plenty of everything!The Spaberech invites you to linger and relax. We recommend a visit to the outdoor sauna on the lake.We spent a wonderful week here and will definitely come back.

Booked a spa afternoon with a friend. This is finally possible without an overnight stay. Very nice atmosphere. I can only recommend it. Unfortunately the lake had tilted and the associated smell did not allow the use of the outdoor facilities. I would have liked to use the lakeside sauna and the beautiful terrace. On the next visit.

Top hotel in a very nice location right on the lake. Nevertheless, Potsdam can be reached in 10 minutes by carOutdoor parking space €12 per day, underground parking €25 per day.Wellness and sauna charge €11 per day and person. I think it should be included in the room rate for 4 stars!Staff very friendly.Negative point at the moment: The lake has algae and it smells very pungent at times!! But it should probably be the first time!?

We, my wife and I, wanted to enjoy a relaxing short vacation for a few days and chose the 4 star island hotel in Potsdam. This is well located and the wellness offerings also met our expectations. We were assigned a room on the first floor (No. 125) and everything seemed to be fine. In the morning hours, however, it became apparent that room 125 was directly above the delivery entrance and that there was a lot of activity and, above all, loudness there every morning! Delivery traffic takes place. This started at 6 a.m. and sleep was no longer possible. In short, the opposite of relaxation and an unreasonable expectation at a price that again corresponded to 4 stars. We were and are very disappointed.
